IGN/Gamespy flushes 13 years of gaming history down the drain

It seems that IGN/Gamespy is shutting down its hosting services after thirteen years at the end of August this year. Including the sites being shut down are Classicgaming.net, RPGplanet, Planetquake, and Strategyplanet.

If you're a PC gamer, you've probably visited one of the many sites about to be shut down. For maps, mods, or updates of any sort. Many fansites still have a devoted following for many games. Classicgaming will be missed.

IGN: The World Ends WIth You Interview!

The World Ends With You(TWEWY) became a hit in 2008 with it's "fresh" take on RPG's. It also caused a lot of buzz on the HS.Network forums, so this interview that IGN did with the director of TWEWY, Tatsuya Kando, should be of great interest. Topics of the questions asked include initial design, role of "Noise," and the possibility of a sequel.
