That there is ^.^ i give wigity wack a 9/10, yes she may be skinny but also incredibly strong to keep that hat on her head, reminds me of the melbourne cup day over here in australia so many women wearing such big hats!, its like a tradition or something =\ but ahhwell nuff bout melbourne and its strange big hat wearing women XD there is alot of talent in this pic tell your sis to keep up the good work coz i see great drawing potential in her through this drawing.

I think my sister did a great job, I wish I could draw as well as her, besides she like drew that in 3 minutes right infront of me. I think its good but it isn't her best and yeah I agree on the hat being too big and the fingers to chubby buut other than that I think its really good. Whats with the too skinny comments lol its anime! xD aren't all anime chics little uber thin. Anyways thanks for te comments and ... "honesty"? lol I should take a picture of some of her other stuff to show you how awesome she really is.

I used to be the one who wrote brutal art critiques! Yeah... I know the one that's in this thread is uber short. I was tired at the time..... You should see the horrible crap I dish out at Genki even though she draws extremely well. I'll do something more proper this time.

DUN DUN DUN....

Gazzz, no problem with her being too skinny. I've seen skinnier. Plus, aesthetically, it looks fine even though the anatomy is totally warped (but wasn't Odalisque's back also warped?) So that's totally xxx's problem, not mine.

HOWEVER, if she's going to bend that way, make sure that her leg looks like it can support her like that. If her torso goes right, her right foot should be farther right. If her torso goes left, her left foot should be farther left. I don't see your sister drawing that.

The way your sis draws eyes, even for an anime leaves a LOT to be desired. Least she could do is make sure that the eye has an outline. An easier way to remember this is by imagining yourself to be a mopey gaaaawth and using mascara and eyeliner. Because, seriously... how in bloody hell am I supposed to tell where the eye ends and the skin starts? And what's wrong with her eyelid? As far as I know, the eyelid is also part of this outline I'm talking about and yet it's disconnected from her eye. If your excuse is "but it's anime! lolololol!!!!!!!11111eleven," at least make the eyelid line closer to the eye.

Her HAT... AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGHHH!!!!! I SEE LINE WORMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Either draw a straight hat or LERN UR DRAPERY!! Unfortunately, this isn't something that I can teach unless I'm sitting right beside your sister with a pencil and paper. But there's a practice exercise I can give: muck around with your blankets (or any kind of drapery, like pants, t-shirt, etc) a bit and then draw it. You have a maximum of 3 minutes to complete the drawing. When the 3 minutes are up, muck around with the blankets and repeat. Do this until you are able to shorten the time to 1 minute without compromising details.

Fingers are warped. Yes, it's hard to draw hands. Practice makes perfect. All I can really say about this is to practice drawing a person's head and connect it to his/her hands on repeat. Doesn't hurt to analyse hand structure by itself as well... but make sure you can attach the hand to a human body and the human's head. The head part is very important.

And again, she has enough hair for 3 heads. This requires no further explanation.

Ok, I'll admit, I'm certainly no professional (dis be da artist) But, it was my fist wack at an MS character. I was trying to make her hair and hat look in proportion to her body as they are in the game, which is why when I made her body bigger, those things expanded with her. I know I could've done it better, but i'm not that good! XD Anyway, Ty all for the comments, they were really helpful! I'll have my lil sis put up another picture I drew which, I think, turned out alot better then this one. Probably because I spent a total of maybe 8 minutes (literally) on this one and a couple hours on my second picture. So if you wanna check out my other one feel free to leave your comments, critiques, and in some cases POINTLESS BASHING, etc. =) I'll be posting it soon, and thanks again fellow maplers!
