I think this is easy, SIN is the answer. Lucky Seven is just too good against the rest. Magician comes in second though. :)

Assassin if you are a little funded. Buy Kumbis and max Lucky Seven fast. This even wins for being fun.

For me, I level Magicians the fastest, so I'll go with Magicians.

I have a sin, mage, and warrior. Never made a bowman, but from all I could see and heard from my bowman friends they have a tough time first job.

Sins aren't difficult to train 1st job, but magic claw has some advantages over Lucky Seven. No stars to recharge. You can fire magic claw while enemy is touching you. Magic claw is not hindered by the terrain, L7 requires clear terrain.

If you had enough mesos, you could prob build a funded sin that could outdamage everything else. Not counting that scenario, I found the mage easier to level 1st job.

I find magicians the funnest, and usually when you enjoy something a lot, you tend to level it up faster. However, I did get my sin from level 1 to 32 in 2 weeks. Lucky Seven makes life very easy.

They're great! Strong attacks and great buffs, lots of MP, and elemental bonuses so there's no doubt where you should be training..what more could you want? :p

Magicians or Sins.

Mages are by far the easiest. I can get a mage to 30 in about a week

Mages will do the most damage at lv. 20, but sins will out-damage them at lv. 25+. I've gotten an archer 1-30 in 6days, but I don't know how fast I could do that with a sin.

Much faster, I got to level 18 in 5 hours, and that's from loose training= no mp pots consumed.

Hey, I'm a seriously unfunded sin in windia, a little help? Level 18 and still wearing noob stuff.

It has to go to Mages from roughly 10-35 or so.

Go F/P. They train the fastest in 3rd job.

Here to spread my propaganda!

Anyway, mages and sins are easier to train, since their training methods are easy. However, don't underestimate the power of slash blast. It's the only 1st job multi targeting skill.

you guys may all think that theives is the best for training
but your all thinking of those funded ones, i mean anyone who is funded
can basically train faster than any other class. Noone gets tobis in their first char so they all start with subis. So in the unfunded way I would have to vote magicians because of their magic claw which is strong in your early training sessions. But as for funded, theives would dominate the rest for their godly stars, fast attack and godly damage.

You guys are forgetting that Mages are HELL to train until around LV14 when you get some sort of magic attack - before that it's just swiping at monsters with a melee weapon - and with minimal STR, it is SLOW. So you can rule out Mages as the easiest or quickest from LV1-LV30. NO WAY.

I'd say most chars I've played aren't too hard LV20-LV30, but for sure Warriors and easiest from LV1-LV15 or so, just because of the high STR, and Slash Blast, which is GREAT for mobbing those weak ass monsters, so I'm voting Warriors. They're also the easiest to get used to. Stand next to the monster, press attack. And the high HP means you die less as a noob.

My sin didn't have godly stars (Tobis aren't godly anyway). It did lvl much faster than my mage, though. Much, much faster.

Only if you go for the hellish build of putting all your first points into max mp increase. If you go for 1 energy bolt first it speeds it up quite a lot with minimal impact on your eventual mana...

Oh and regarding the minimal strength thing, next time you make a mage try using the stars and stripes flag. It's got 10 strength and 30 weapon attack which is pretty darn good at that level.

Energy Bolt or whatever it's called , it's like the first skill you need.

for mages, yeh, and if ur unfunded, boy, u will go slow..... but at lvl 15 - 30, u can lvl like a cheetah :D ( i lvled up 2 times in half an hour..)

CelHolyPriest
18th September 2007, 07:41 PM
Are u sure u can lvl twice within half an hour. I can't, not even with double exp. Unless it is from lvl 1 - 3, hahahaha. U r good, man.

It's stupid not to max the Max MP Increase thing first. Of course you should use a S&S but it's still slower than a Warrior. That's what this thread is about, right? ;)

i say mage, they do good dmg when at low lvl and range and they can hit monsters even tho they touching them.

second is sin (not dit)
3rd is archer
4th dit
5th warriors

although mages lvl fast 1st job.
its a lil slower at 2nd. even with the great skills of i/l and cleric and the elem adv. with fire, they are starting to get outdmged by other classes and makes lvling slightly slower.

if u want quick lvling althroughout. sins are made for this job. although i find their job to be rather boring

Fastest is Mage because Magic Claw = DIE MONSTERS!!
Assassins....hmmm, they seems to be tied with Mages

I don't agree with you. i/l can lv just as fast if you max thunderbolt first, and get tele. Then train on ratz on the 99th helios tower in ludi, or A night in the forest in zip. Both places are fast exp for some that has max thunerbolt and tele. And healing undead for a cleric is fast exp. A thunderbolt wizard and clerics lv as fast as, if not faster than anyone else. Because mob killing > 1 on 1 killing, even if you 1hko.

And you won't get outdamaged by other classes. How many warriors can do 6k 7.2k damage at lv 47? thunderbolt wizards can (6 x 1000 = 6k, 6 x 1200 = 7.2k). My thunderbolt wizard could do 1k x 6 with thunderbolt to lightning weak enemies at lv 47. And I don't have any scrolled int equips and a below ave. wand. My sader couldn't do 6k PS until late 7x, and I have yet to do a 7.2k powerstrike. And my SB didn't do 1k x 6 consistently until 6x. And by the time I get to 6x, my tb will do around 1.7k x 6. That is more than my SB did at that lv. And fighters are supposed to be about big damage, yet i/l's can do damage that is on par with them, or out damage them. Plus even a 8x sader will have a hard time ksing a 6x i/l. ( I was barely able to ks a lv 67 i/l off my map with my sader, that stole my map from my lv 49 i/l.)

And 1 on 1 against a sin or dit of equal level in a lightning weak map, the i/l will win. I had quite a few 4x sins/dits try and take my A night in the forest map from me. And they all ended up ccing in less than 5 mins. I outkilled them, by using TB + tele to get them in 1 big mob, then tb'ed them to death. And I forgot to mention that if you have maxed cold beam, then its a 1hko, so it a great map for i/l's whether you went cb first, or tb first. I think it's faster exp than ratz.

Both clerics and i/ls will lv fast if you train in the right maps at the right lvs.

Yeah, but warriors have

First Job Mob Skill
Auto Second Attack in Second Job
Excelent Damage, Beats Clerics at 35
High Defense
Extreme HP

Consider that Assassins need more money than mages not just on HP/MP pots but for stars and equipment.

I'd say Warriors because they have a mobbing skill AND a 1v1 skill. They can keep the experience gain constant since they have the HP to survive compared to the rival classes.

Mages, about 15-30 is easy as pie.

However, the first few levels are hell.

Still, I'd say Mage. I leveled it to 1-14 then quit it then 14-30 in less than a week. My friend started a sin before my mage was made, and he was 28 71%when I became 30. He's not a slow grinder.
