Buddy chat problems? (in game)

I need help (again).
In MS, Buddy chat is not working for me. I don't know why O_O. I have friends online But when I try to use Buddy Chat it tells me there are none online. The weird thing is they can use Buddy chat to talk with me. Just not me with them.
It used to work, but a week ago it just stopped and displayed the message no buddies are online. Is there anyway to fix this? I get really tired of having to whisper them, or create parties just when i want to talk with my friends. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yea this is the wrong section, it should be in tech support.

And for your problem I can't help you other then to tell you to send your problem in for nexon to look at because it is a in game problem. Not much you can do about that. I say just ask nexon. Also you should check if your buddy chat is enabled and if it is do what I said before.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that it says that buddies are unavailable when they block buddy chat. (Menu, Game Options [not system], and Check ON Allow Buddy chat. Everyone's is on by default and so should their's but it might not be.)
As I said, however, I'm not sure if this is the problem.

In the buddy list (in-game) check if the symbols next to the online characters name is colored orange. If its not orange then click on the symbol to make it orange.

This actually makes it so that neither of you can see each other. It doesn't prevent you from seeing who's online and it doesn't prevent you from typing a line into buddy chat and having it appear on your screen.

Haha, I turned mine off once for some reason, and forgot. I didn't realize it for days and was like, "Why won't anyone talk to me? :("

This is the only possibility for a fix that I can think of. If it's not this, I would send Nexon a ticket.

Edit: Nooo wait. Even if you mute someone, you can still see that they are online. The only way you wouldn't be able to see they're online is if they had deleted you, but you say you're still on their lists. I'd ask Nexon, but you'll have to wait for them to reply.

Turn the head icon from grey to orange...btw if you want to hear them turn the ear to orange too! (I just now tested it lol)
