The person with 2x card gets the party experience x2, but everyone else gets the regular amount.

I believe that everything the person with 2x exp kills will give double experience which is split between the entire party, then that person also gets double exp on party exp.

If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

nope. The exp rate and distribution among party members is the same. The exp that comes into the person who has a 2x exp card is doubled

2x exp isent doubled until you recive the exp itself. once the exp is calculated for the kill and how it is split, it sends it out, doubling the exp only of those who have 2x exp.

which makes me wonder, with holysymbol, since it is a party skill, would it be the same, or would the exp from the kill automatically be doubled before sending it out to the party?

That far away? Darn... I want to get a 2x card... If I could get my page to 3rd job before the summer hits, I'd be really happy. Too bad about the party deal. Just means everyone has to spend more money *surprise* -_-

I don't see it. There's 2x drop from 4pm-6pm pst for the month, but it doesn't say anything about 2x exp

He was referring to a post quoting a post mentioning both double exp and double drop, so it's kinda ambiguous as to what he was actually talking about.

True, but since the topic is about 2x exp, I was more looking for that info then 2x drop. Usually they coinside with each other dont they?
