That's a serious question.
What is the amount of HP and mp you get for WIZARD,Cleric,Fighter,Spearman,Page,Bowman,Xbowman ,Bandit and assassin?
It will help me and a whole community that needs it. if someone is going to reach 30,please tell me your status.PLEASE ! Thanks a bunch,Dor.

its random. certian jobs gain more hp/mp then others, but even so, if you get 2-3 people going for the same job, how much they gain will not be exactly the same. its just programmeed to be within a range.

Yep. It's calculated by the stats STR and INT; the more strength, the higher the amount of HP gained, and the same applies for INT to MP. Also, the skills Impoving Max HP/MP Increase, for Warriors and Magicians respectively, increase the amount of HP and MP added.
Generally, without STR, INT and the skills, you add around 3~5 HP/MP each level? I'm not sure.

He's not talking about level ups, hes talking about job advancements.

Only Int affects mp gain. Str doesn't do anything for hp gain

Really? Then Warriors.... I thought they did, because the more strength I had, the higher my HP was, for my two magicians. And no "pics or it didn't happen", because my hard drive was wiped by a reformat.
I stand corrected.
And for job advancements, you usually gain about 60% of your original max HP and MP, seeing as my bar always goes down to just above half when doing a JA. But again, you can correct me.

Why would you have STR on your magician in the first place?

a str mage, maybe? It happens for whatever reason... boredom, curiosity and a need to feel special are my best guesses.

Probably not, since he said "for my two magicians".

Eh no. I meant like 5 STR and 4 STR. Expression error. >.<
Edit: And some of my equipments add strength as well.

It's because it is assumed that this, and not simply adding to HP will add to HP. Thinking back, I had a 40 STR and 20 DEX magician, before I decided this was totally screwy. It did decent physical damage, but it was becoming too hard to raise, and did alot less than my priest right now (barely 100 when most people that level dealt 400). I had low HP, not high. Conclusion, raising HP may actually work especially since if you're using a cleric you don't want every attack to use up a pot, when you can instead spam heal 100+ times before using up a pot. It also helps for Himes. But STR Mages are total crud. 400 HP STR mage with lousy magic atk, or 1600 HP Blood Priest with over 2k magic attack, just for the HA/Claw. Btw, it seems like the more HP you raise, the more easily HP goes up, though INT counterbalances this for mages (HP raised used to raise 5HP, then it raised to 10HP as I consistently raised HP, then trying to gain more bang for my buck, I lowered LUK and raised INT, and now HP increase is more like 7-9 per increase).
If you already have high HP, the HP will of course be even higher on Job change. But it won't matter because you'll already have high HP!

Then you'll have High High HP! Cool!
That's what happened to me. Went perfect stats, hell-route (skip Bolt) and went through all that for 20 MP difference in 2nd job, where plenty people shot past me already.

You have equipment on your mage that adds STR?! (Not including Zhelm and pendants)
