I was happily finishing up my Dead Mine PQ, and suddenly I disconnected.
I couldn't even get back ON Maple.

When I got back on after five minutes, all the channels of every world were down to a minimum.

Now I disconnected again.

MapleStory will be going through an unscheduled server check on May 26th, 2008.



This involves the game servers, and will last for approximately 30 mins.

well, i play in khaini - maple global...
we have 19 channels, and some days ago a lot of channels went down, about 10 channels, and that was a hacker attack...

hacker attacks r getting too common these days...

As for the thread itself, over this weekend Bera experienced an outright crash. It happens every once in a while, and were it a server check, sometimes players can slip on when the check begins but get disconnected the moment they pick their channel for entry to the game.

...but I actually got into the game, and smuggled my ZPQ keys out. Then my mouse stopped working, and I had to log out!

Also, this reminds me of that hack that screwed over everybody who went into SW's sauna!

Oh, no, no... never meant that you could still continue playing. Very interesting situation though... never heard of that happening other than when the server had multiple hiccups or crashes in a row. There are also instances where all channels will go down but one or two. Whether or not thats hack related or server failure will be speculation as Nexon will not disclose the cause of these things (bad business to do so).

Oh yea.... that was my first experiance with hackers. It was kinda funny though, because most of the time there was one channel open. I think I went in there 3 times because I enjoyed the hide-and-seek aspect of finding the right channel.
