Please be informed that there will be a Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update for MapleSEA on the 9th October 2008*, from 0800 hrs (+8 GMT) to 1430 hrs (+ 8 GMT). The Game Service will be down during this period. Please logout before this time to avoid any loss of items.
The upcoming patch includes:
Version 0.63
- Release of MY Extension Map!
- Opening of Halloween Map!
- Halloween Party Quest added!
- New quests available in MY Maps!
- Enhanced features in MapleSEA Interface.
- New Cash Items Added!
- Reported bug fixed!

Dear Maplers,
The following contents will be released in MapleSEA game client version 0.63.
Learn about the latest information that have been modified and added in this patch:
[Game]
1. You can jump straight from the platform to the lower level by pressing [↓] & [jump] key at the same time. It may not available in certain areas due to the characteristic of the place.
2. You can view the currently equipped items in hair shop, plastic surgery shop and skin shop.
3. More functions available by using keyboard useful when selecting world, character, chatting with NPC and in Cash Shop.
4. Level display of Eqp. Item has changed.
5. Some of Beginner’s skills are adjusted.
- Beginner: MP consumed by 3 snails has decreased.
- Beginner: MP consumed for HP recovery and MP delay have decreased.
- Beginner: MP consumed for Nimble Feet and delay have decreased.
6. Some of 1st job skills are adjusted.
- For all Warriors: When HP recovery increase skill level is higher than level 1, time that takes
for HP recovery has decreased.
- For all Thieves: Dark Sight delay has decreased.
7. Some of the 2nd job skills are adjusted.
- For all Bowman: Power knockback activated percentage has increased.
- For Crossbow man: Iron Arrow consume MP and damage are synchronized with skill

- For all Bowman: Mortal Blow activated percentage has increased.
- Chief Bandit : Thieves consume MP has decreased. Chakra recovery has increased and damage attacked while recovery has decreased.
9. Some of the 4th job skills are adjusted.
- For Dark Knight: Beholder's Buff delay has decreased.
- For all Warriors: Monster Magnet gauge has implemented. Number of Mobs to draw near will
vary by the gage.
- For all Magicians: You can move while charging the gage of Big Bang.
- For Crossbow Master: You can move while charging the gage of Piercing.
- For all Thieves: Number of Mobs you can attack by Showdown has increased.
- For Paladin: Sanctuary delay has decreased.
- For Dark Knight: Berserk HP condition has increased.
- For Crossbow Master: Sniping delay has decreased.
10. Davy John PQ Mobs has weaken.
11. Finding Party function are added.
- Click 'Find' button in the party window (hot key 'P') and finding party UI will pop up.
- You can register yourself at finding party.
- You can invite users automatically who are registered in finding party.
- User whose level is either higher or lower than 30 from your own level will not be searched.
- Only those users who are in the same map as you're will be subject to the finding party search.
12. Party HP UI added.
- You can choose activate/deactivate Party UI by pressing HP display button.
- Only party member shown in the mini map will display their HP.
13. Drop rate of some Mastery books have increased.
14. When you double click on the name or finish requirement of the quest registered in the quest alarm window, quest info window will pop up and show you the information.
15. Tool tip display in the shop signboard and post have changed.
16. Guild union system is added.
- There must be more than 2 guilds to create Guild union.
- Maximum number of guild can join the Guild union is 5.
17. If you click NPC in available quest tab, you can find the location of the NPC in the world map.
- This is not available for NPC in those area that can’t be shown in the world map.

4. Chlorotrap monster from Malaysia Map has been corrected to drop the right Deadly Fin equipment.
5. Usage of the Magic Door Skill has been enabled in Malaysia Maps.
6. NPC descriptions have been added to NPCs in Malaysia Maps.

[New System Features]
1. Party Search

The “Find Party” function has been added for your convenience.
If you wish to find party:
- Click on the search button in the party window and the Find Party UI (user interface) will pop up.
- You can register yourself to find a party.
- You will be invited automatically if there is another party leader searching for party members.
If you are the party leader:
- Click on the “Party Member” tab.
- Set the levels you wish to search for your party members.
- Tick the checkboxes to select which classes you wish to party up with.
- And then click “Start Search” to find your members.
2. Guild Alliance
Guild Alliance system has been added. Each guild can set up alliances with a maximum of 5 guilds!
- To create Guild Alliance, the Guild Leader from each guild has to party up with another Guild Leader and speak to Lenario at Orbis – Guild Head Quarters.
- 5 Million Mesos are required for the first registration.
- Additional 1 Million Mesos are required for 1 guild extension to your alliance.
- After paying 1 Million Mesos to Lenario open your “Guild Alliance” tab, click on “Invite”, then enter the other guild’s name.
3. HP/MP party bar- You can choose to activate/deactivate Party UI by pressing HP display button
- Only party members’ HP will be shown in the mini map (Right hand corner)
4. [Jump] down
You can now jump from a platform to the lower level platform by pressing [↓] & [jump].
[Halloween PQ]
• Party up with exactly 4 members.
• Activate the quest by speaking to the Butler.
• Select either First, Second or Third party room. (If there is any team occupied the First room, you may switch to Second or Third party room)
• At the 1st stage, each member is to station at each portal and hit the chest, opening the correct chest will allow your team to advance to the next portal.
• At the 2nd stage, find a Piece of Mirror.
• The member who finds a Piece of Mirror will enter the mid portal first, followed by the rest of the members.
• Final stage, you will receive 50 pouches from the Butler to catch as many ghosts as possible!
Note
• Open your inventory, under “USE”, place “Pouch” into your hotkey for convenient use.
• All ghosts are immune to spells, only normal attacks will injure the ghost.
• To catch the ghost, be sure you’ve taken out ¾ of its life and then use the “Pouch” hotkey to capture.
• The more you catch, the highest points you gain! Accumulate 30 points and you will receive a Masked Gentleman’s Hat.
• As a bonus, you will receive random prizes upon exchanging all the ghosts you’ve caught with Butler.
[New Interface]
You can view your current equipment when changing your skin, hair and plastic surgery.
Available in all:
Skin shop
Hair-Salon shop
Plastic Surgery Shop.

[New NPC Hot-Key]
Now you can set the NPC hot key in your key settings option. When you’re approaching any NPC, if you wish to have a conversation with him/her, just hit the hotkey.
