GMS Content Patch Ver. 0.61

MapleStory will be going through a scheduled Patch on Tuesday, October 14th, 2008.



This one involves the game servers, and it'll last for approximately 8 hours.

What is Content Patch?



New content has to mesh well with our version, and since we have unique content, there?s always a possibility that it could affect another area of the game, so we have to test it. After we complete testing and everything is working, the game will be open to everyone.

The ftp link doesn't do anything anymore. Ever since v56, when they changed their crap so people using private servers had to get the files all over again, the link doesn't reveal anything except "vXX is released!" But whatever, go ahead and get your hopes up:

Like I said before, we're getting the Singapore maps, and the monsters related to it.

not likely piraites... if it was pirates, we would have been told before the patch was announced. yes, I know there is a banner on the main site about piriates, but they havnet offically announced pirate is coming.

i have a we will be getting singapore and mansion expansion... then in november thanks giving quests. in the end, if we get pirate preview quests in .61, then we might get pirates in .62 in november. of course, they might choose to wait for .63 to give us it for chirstmas.

Naw, all the 'big' updates, like 3rd and 4th job and whatnot, were done around the end-beginning of the year. A whole new job would obviously be a 'big update', and so would take longer than 8 hours.

Change the version from 60 to 61 in the url. That should fix any problems downloading from the site. Other than that, I'm more worried about them fixing the "glitch" in OPQ than anything :)

The ghost ship is permanent I believe. In all the other versions that have it, its permanent, so I dont see why ours wouldent be.

-_- another thing that Nexon screwed up at... ( the patch didn't work for me ). Had to redownload the new version cause version .60 can't patch itself. Thanks WonderingElf for that idea. Can't w8 to start playing

ok, I take back what I said about the mini dungeon event being awesome. Its pretty much impossible to get the chairs, let alone the mastery books without spending tons on nx

The game has gotten extremely glitchy. I can't go to CH1 FM entrance without lagging really bad or lagging out. This has never happen to me before.

Besides, you can get one in half an hour, so I don't see why anyone would want to buy one.

Where do you go to singapore?

Talk to the NPC near the cab in Kerning, she takes you to a map where you wait to go, etc.




Also, in those mini-dungeon maps, I can't seem to pot. I can heal myself fine, but my I/L is another story. Anyone else get this?

The plane to Singapore is in Kerning. There's a lady on the right side of the town that "sells tickets" for it and warps you there.

Quest item from the old hobo fisherman/sailor guy. But it's glitched anyway, so you can't really go in there. :/

ok Singa Here we go

ok the quests there is some start quest for low lvl they are just stupid and dont give something good but if you go to the next sailor city you come to it start get interesting because you have to hunt some monsters down but its not this when you cleared all quest you´ll finaly get a white esence
(sry my english is bad )
but anyways the white esence can be used for spawn a boss monster in lvl 100 i think called capt latainia
after you get him down he´ll drop black essence and you can clear the final quest
but the last with the boss is just come in ems so i think it go some time because singa have been there for a good time now but now to something other after my advice its it a SUPER training place for cleric lvl 55 -70 on no time you can made 2-3 lvl day if you train the best spots its mp3 ( mystic patch 3 or the ghost ship room number one isnt used so much but gs 2 is Super all you need is to go in the middle of the stairs and so just spam heal they got super spawn rate so you can fast get lvl with just spam healing .. :rolleyes: after what i mean is Singapore just good training
uhm i think its ok for I/L to but so its best in low lvl hunt truks cant remember the name on them but its in the top in the other side than you get to the sailor city its easy to find
