Killing Baby Slimes in the PQ-Fact or Fiction?

Hi everybody, this is my first official post here on hidden-street.Anyway, there are always rumours floating around that killing the baby slimes that appear after the death of the King Slime makes your reward worse.I beleive that this is not true in anyway, and it is sheer luck.Secondly, i would like to say, that the guy that first said that should be shot.If the poll i am making works correctly, i will see what you guys think.Oh yeah, if you guys ever see potshot, defame him for me, and tell him that "that was for Xanbatou!"He defamed me just because i killed the baby slimes.Anyway, i would like to hear everybody's thoughts on this matter, and seeing how it is late at night, this post will probably die, but oh well.

ive actually been partying recently....

most recent prizes have been aquamarine, adamantium, and another ore...ive also recieved sapp earrings, gold rings, brown/green bamboo hat, various scrolls, and also red cross earrings.

i still think its completely random,

i tried this MANY times during my pqs since i was a leader noone would do anything. i convinced many it was a rumor.

I killed the Slimes like 5 times and then left them 5 times here is what i turned out with...

KILLING SLIMES
1. Black Crystal Ores
2. Red Cross Earrings
3. Bronze Ores
4. Star Earrings
5. Star Earrings

NOT KILLING
1. Steel Ores
2. Star Earrings
3. Sapphire Earrings
4. Sapphire Ores
5. Topaz Ores

... well the point is ... it doesnt really matter !!

i tried something new =P, i kill 2 of the baby slimes and i got a sapphire earring, so i think tat doesn't really matters much

If I was on a Claw roll, i went on ahead and wailed on the slimes.

And 100% of the time, someone threw a fit. And if it became a problem, they were booted and a cooler person took their place. :P

Most people won't do it for want of not creating havoc in a party quest. I agree, it's all just a rumour. Wizet wouldn't put something that stupid in the game, and whoever started the rumour must be pooping themselves laughing now.

Still, if there's the slightest chance of getting a better prize, most people will take that chance.

the most annoying is, your pq members will boot you out the party just because of this silly rumour

I think some of these people feel that they rather not risk the chance and be safe than sorry. Moreover, killing the baby slimes doesn't gain u any advantage.

Here's my opinion. Whenever I kill those slimes, I get WAY better stuff than not killing slimes. Got lots of pots, green bamboo hat, earrings, etc. When I didn't kill slimes, I got silver ores, ore stupid saphire ores. So I kill the slime most of the time^^

we should start a new rumour, that if you kill an even number of slimes you have less chance of getting ordinary ores.

I started playing about 3 weeks ago....what is a baby slime all I know are....Snails,red snails, blue snails, stumps, dark(axe) stumps, axe styumps, octopi, orange mushrooms, shrooms, green mushrooms. And that is all.

I leveled 2 characters from 21 to 31 on pure PQing now. I have gotten every reward possible from PQ many times. 99% of the PQs I did the slimes got killed. So, I'm 99.9% sure the answer is no.
What I really want to know is who started this?

Sounds to me like someone started this just because they hated waiting for someone to kill all the slimes (yay 2xp + 3 mesos go slimes!) or just a nice rumor to screw with the noobs. Why would Wizet put monsters there for you to ignore?

Anyway, who knows for sure. I say slash blast away. :D

I was also defamed for killing the slimes twice, but I got some justice...

I left the party before they got their prizes. :P
