Set all my settings down, set the game priority and it still is majorly blah!

Also wasn't fun spending 2 hours resetting all my SP [guess they did some sort of reset] - took 2 hours before of how bad I was lagging/took forever to click.

Anyway - my question and suggestions welcome....I am on Scania, and I want out!

So many new servers! And I haven't run into a hacker yet. Hopefully that isn't a problem as much as it was back when I was playing regularly.

Thanks for any advice you can give on servers....been fun exploring all the new stuff and maps! Lots of quests to catch up over the last 4 years. It's funny how I picked back up playing on their 8th anniversary....I remember when it was their 1st anniversary and still have equip drops from then. :)

I was vaguely aware of Bless of Fairy, but never levelled a char high enough to make it worthwhile.

Now I have just stumbled over Mercedes and WOW !! It would only take a few days (now that MS is no badly nerfed) to get ne to level 70 - at which point I can give a 10% EXP buff to my main!!

And it seems a cannoneer can give 15% bossing buff.

Then there's Bless of Fairy / Empress blessing.

And Zen seems to have soemthing which I haven't looked into yet !! Oh, my !!

So, here's the question(s):

What are the avaailable buffs that I can give to my main, just by raising another character to a certain level and then abandoning it? I am thinking of effectively using the entire accont for the benefit of my main.
In which order should I get them?
Are there any more that I am unaware of?
Would it be better to put some chars into another account and log in at 2 PCs? E.G, a bishop on another a/c for the EXP buff party skill.

Once again, I've come with a dilemma about what class to play. I definitely am looking forward for Demon Avenger and the KoC revamp here (and Xenon, mainly for the link skill), but since it's likely to be a very long time till the new classes come, and my current Angelic Buster is getting closer to the "no turn back" point (a.k.a. requiring a lot of funding), I'm not certain what to do anymore.

My previous thread for this yielded pretty good results regarding choosing my class to play in the mid run (Angelic Buster won), so let's see if this one turns out just as well. Do note that, regardless of the decision, I WILL do the next things as soon as I can:

1-Collect a Shark Tooth set for Striker, and a Falcon Wing set for Wind Breaker (revamped KoCs)
2-Make and level a Demon Avenger once they're out. Will use till KoC revamp comes.
3-Make and level a Xenon to get the link skill.
4-Make and level a Striker. Will use till Wind Breaker comes out.
5-Make level and main a Wind Breaker. This one's likely to be my absolute main character for post-Unlimited update.

Here's the list of classes I've considered:

Angelic Buster: Yup, my current main character at level 151. I'm using the Growing Tempest set with the weapon scrolled fully w/60%s, reaching a range of 35k fully buffed w/Warrior Elixir. With the upcoming event of Empress gear dropping from event boxes, I can give her yet another big jump towards badassery. Except... yeah, ABs are pretty nerfed right now, and while they're far from unplayable, Unlimited update will apparently make them VERY weak compared to other attackers, at least from what I've read so far. I want a job that doesn't become useless/wickedly hard to fund post-Unlimited.

Hero: Once again, my Hero comes over. Currently at level 105 and using a full Tempest set, although no Advanced Combo book yet. According to some DPS charts, Heroes are likely to become wickedly strong in the long run. Also, not depending on heavy investment for PDR is a nice plus (50% PDR from skill ftw). Willing to give it a try once again now that I got a few more tools to increase its damage. There's also Kaiser, but... Kaiser's no 'Hero' for me :P

Make a Buccanner: Since the very first KoC revamped is Thunder Breaker, making an Explorer pirate seems like a good idea. If I go for Buccanner, I can reuse my Shark Tooth weapon for my Striker. I'm assuming, of course, that it won't be a pain to get 2 full Shark Tooth armor sets, since PSoKing that amount of gear would be VERY costly (it'd be better to sell the NX needed for it and get some awesome gear). At most, I'd PSoKing anything that I had scrolled well already.

Make a Corsair: Same story as Buccanner, except I won't have a scrolled Shark Tooth weapon to reuse. Although the bullets seem like a drawback both in damage and inventory space, I'm willing to give it a try if that's not much of a hindrance.

Make your suggestion: If you have another job in mind you can recommend, do so! As long it's not in my list of banned classes, I'm up for anything if you give me a good reason to play said job.

Banned classes: Kaiser, Cannon Master, Evan, any Archer-type job, Paladin. Kaiser's overrated, end of story. I kinda got sick of Cannon Master and just grounded it after I got the link skill. Evan needs NX to get some of its most vital skills, and that's an absolute no. I don't want to spoil myself with Archers before playing Wind Breaker. Paladin looks like a nerfed Demon Avenger, or more like, Demon Avenger is like a buffed Paladin, so no.

Anyway, hope you can help me with this dilemma everyone. Waiting for your replies here!

Anyway, equips in inventory now have a "Damage INcrease" Indicator, which shows how much more or less damage that weapon would do than what I have equipped. Can anyone explain, or provide a link to, exactly what that does?

I guess that it is taking into account potential & additonal potential, not just base stats?

But, we don't have elemental weapons yet. My L/L mage is using a green turle staff which inflicts 1.25 times damage when using lightning based attacks and 1.1 times on ice based, but only 0.75 on other elements (whatever that means).

I don't see how they could factor that in to the Damage Increade indicator.

The good news is that equipment drop rates have been increased significantly, with a chance that the equipment will have Additional Options (separate from Potential). And yeah, Level 110 equipment has started to drop from monsters, too. This includes Shining Rods, Soul Shooters, Desperados, and Energy Swords.

The weird news is that no monster has a fixed drop of equipment, seemingly. This means you may get equipment from monsters that were not present from their regular drop list as compared to the previous patches. From what I have observed, any kind of monster may drop equipment similar to their level, and then some other random stuff.
