MapleStory will be going through a rescheduled Patch on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008.

This one involves the game servers, and it'll last for approximately 5.5 hours.

(Thursday, May 22nd, 6:00 am ~ 11:30 am GMT)

My guess is that this patch is probably just some bug/glitch fixes and maybe that multiple pet thing

guys, if it was yollonde, they would have announced that already. I swear there is always someone screaming yollonde every time there is a patch, even though we havent got to the point where we need a new server yet.

Probably just for glitches, and what not, seeing as there was no Tespia for this patch. MAYBE a gg update as well.
Unfortunately no Pirate job (if it is, it will be a surprise to everyone because it wasn't in Tespia). My guess is as good as yours for pirates but i'm not expecting it until next year (maple's 4th or New Years like they did with the 4th job.


Anyway, there's my two cents.

they didnt release 4th job in assosiation with the anniversery.

pirate jobs is more of a matter of translation, not really testing. they already extensively tested it in kms.

wonder what lvl the quests will be?

I believe they are level 200 quests for the few people who made it there.

Unsure of the level requirements for the Pet Trainer quests, though. I haven't been able to glean it from the data..

It seems they messed up once again. I wonder if this applies to the manual patch as well. Also the patch so far has been extended 3 hours and 15minutes.

PS: Yes, I'm camping to get a good spot at FM.

I just wanna go to Himes. :(

It ended up getting extended 5 hours past its listed time. Guess Nexon workers failed at deadlines in college.

Well, the new patch did not fix the bugs with the Orange Tiger. My character is still effectively banned until the Tiger is fixed.

The aniversary event doesn't end with this patch right?

they end 6.10 so I guess Patch 0.56 is the one patch that clears the game of the events

Entering the wrong pin 5 times gets you banned for an hour.

I know they didn't release 4th job in association with the anniversery, thats why i also said NewYears.

Also, I know that it's been tested extensively in kms, but that still didn't stop them with testing horn tail and showa (even though they completely changed showa) before they imported it.

Anyway, the multi pets thing is cool. maybe i'll buy a few pets after i buy a shop.

3 pets, for the love of God, they do know how stupid kids are and know they will buy the 3 pets so their maple penor gets bigger.

And sheesh, if having 3 pets onscreen weren't enough, you now have to deal with those huge annoying "pet effects"
