Grade 10 was the only history course I was required to take, 40% of the course focused on World War II and only maybe 20% on Canadian history.. Even if I had never taken the course, it would be completely impossible to have no idea what Hitler did.

Don't know if curriculum changes from my catholic school to a public one (which I assume Kag is in) but yeah.

no, theres 4 mandatory (9-12) and some people who failed/feel they need to improve their grades take an extra year.

You can choose to and you also can choose not to. But a 5th year is the most healthiest choice for students going to university/college

Not exactly, there are people who feel unprepared to go to secondary education so they take an extra year... I'm taking a 5th year. I'm not failing but there are some credits i need to obtain since i take french and business every year and that kinda delays the process
