Pics or it didn't happen.
I don't believe the shooting in Dark Knight Rises took place either. With all the people in a crowded theater who obviously had cellphones, one of them couldn't pop out a cameraphone and take pics of the shooter? The movie itself is offensive to Obama, as one of the major villains (Bane) uses share-alike rhetoric similar to him. What do we get after the fact? A bunch of repeated long shots of the apartment.
Here, I'm muting the sound, to filter out all the crap. What I
see is cops doing alot of setup work (yellow tape, bomb disposal unit) but I've yet to see an armed man as they say pop out of the building. An email threat? An armed man?
Unless supposed armed man is actually FIRING on the president, this isn't even a crime. Far from it, he has the RIGHT to do such things.
Amendment 1
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Amendment 2
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
The right of the people to bear arms, not the right only of armies. Why? In case despots ever tried to subdue the population. Unfortunately, the population has decided to subdue itself, by forgetting its other right, the right to free speech. Oh, but there are limits like "you can't yell 'fire' in a crowded theater." Yes, you can. If there is an actual fire. If not, people have the right to laugh you off and say there's no fire. Freedom of speech is tempered with common sense. So this email threat? Unless it fell under sexual harassment, or the guy was actually near enough in proximity that it was valid, this is just (an incredibly dumb) use of freedom of speech to complain or provoke changes.
Oh, and the police Do Not Cross line? Some old woman ducked under it at 1:32. You gonna arrest her too?
