31 GB video?

well my friend went on msn and messaged me he had left fraps on all day he said the vid file was 31 GB i said " ya right " so he showed me this picture

dude is a 31 GB video file possible or did he edit first time ive seen one i keep fighting with him about it i say its not possible he said post it in the tech section of hiddenstreet so i did. :D

this is a tech question so it belongs in tech section.

if you still dont get the question the question is

is a 31 GB+ video file possible? or is this just an edit.

It's easy enough. Fraps has a cruddy compression system due to the live-writing of the video. If he had a full version, he could do it in one run, otherwise, it's just a series of 30 second bites.

This really doesn't belong in tech support either, methink.

Of course it's possible. Only if you used Windows 98 or ME then you would have a problem having such a big file size. He's just showing you the folder though, he could easily have 30 files of 1 gig in there.

forgot to post he showed me inside theres one video file of 31GB
