Thread: Connection lost!

    Hamburger Connection lost!

OMG!! Everytime I try to play MapleStory it doesn't work. I'll click play, the screen will go black, I'll hear a brief "doo-du-dah" sound (as if it were going to start) that gets cut off and then a box comes up that says
"The connection to the server has ended.
    Please try again later."

    I dunno what to do:(
I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling.
I've tried deleting the gameguard folder.
I've checked all the firewall and windows internet security things and it is not being blocked.
But the same error constantly occurs.

    I really want to play.
    PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Geographic location? If your from europe and trying to play gms then this could happen. Is it being port blocked on your router?

Hello Jed, glad to see you're posting again :)

IPs located in any country with a local version cannot connect to GMS.

You "reformat" your computer by reinstalling your operating system, usually from a disk provided by your computer OEM. This should be a last-resort, as it wipes all your data and takes time to backup all your stuff and reinstall.

What graphics card do you have? Open the "Run" box in your start menu and type "dxdiag" and give us some pertinent system info, so we can help you.

Maybe your computer does not have a new version of DirectX or is too laggy now. Thats what happened to our old computer.
