once upon a time there was a huge riot all over the city of Long Beach. A pawn shop needed to protect itself during the riots so it doesn't get broken into etc...
so what did they do? they paid, and supplied this asian gang to stay on the roof of the pawn shop during the riots to warn/shoot anyone who tries anything against the shop. and while other business' were broken into, trashed, and had items stolen from them the pawn shop was left intact because they had asian gangsters with guns on the roof.
