okay so I read another guid for Mac the Mechanic's Maintenance Manual and i found the hidden street an now i have been here over an hr beating on the boxes and breaking them to have the come up empty. do I have to leave eeach time or have I done something wroung? I talked to the guy and went threw a box on the same screen as him.

Leave and enter again, there's a couple rooms that you can teleport to, and not all of them have the manual in it.
