LaTale and Maplestory

What are the main differences between LaTale and Maplestory? How difficult is it to get use to LaTale's interfaces and get well acquainted with the skills available, training spots, weapopns, bosses, etc? Which class is the cheapest and fastest to level up? Which class is more wanted for parties/bosses/etc? (like how BMs and NLs and DrKs and Bishops are wanted for maple bosse/parties/etc)

Don't know about classes. Skills shouldn't be too hard to get used to, only big difference is that there's cool down time for both skills AND pots

damn about the server thing, I should have no problem with the skills, i also should have asked how difficult it would be for me to get acquainted with the skills of all classes without playing them. How difficult would it be to know most of the common acronyms of the game?

Skills vary on which weapon you use. Most weapons usually have two attack skill trees with a few exceptions (Toolboxes and MGs only have one attack skill tree and Knuckles have three attack skill trees). Wizards don't need weapons to use attack skills although their weapons help their magic (Staffs give extra Magic Accuracy and Orbs give extra defense). Your skill build depends on which class you are and what 2nd job class you are going to be really.

JAS - Jump-Attack-Skill (Doing this allows you to use skills in the air which is important for Guardians)
ES - Evil Sound (Bard Skill)

Spooky - Spooky Village instance
Toad - Toad Island

Items:
Dura - Item Durability
Min - Minimum Damage
Max - Maximum Damage
WSWC - Weak Special Weapons Coupon
SSWC - Strong Special Weapons Coupon
IDR - Item Drop Rate
RIDR - Rare Item Drop Rate
Primes - Prime Experience Potions
IR - It actually doesn't stand for anything, it's a cash shop item that let's you teleport another person to you.
IW - Iron Will
SS5 Scrolls/Coins - 5th tier quest items

Monsters:
Gobs - Night Goblins
Navies - Neo Lilliput Navies
Lizards - Lizardmen
Wolves party - Old Wolves
OK - Ocean King
Kais - Shinden Kais

A good starting class would be a Spear Warlord or a Mace Templar. Spear Warlords have great damage, accuracy, and mob control but awfully low hp. Mace Templars have the best hp and defense in the whole game making them the best tanks for instance mobs/bosses but they have a low damage output.

well i would say dude that your one of the chosen one, i play LaTale -lvl 127 blader and i can say im a slow blader cuz im from canada(lag), and i noticedd your from california, which so happens to be the base for the server for latale, therefore making you have godly speed and most cali bladers will whoop any regualr bladers azz lmao. the gsme is good I would be glad to addd youto mi guild and you can see how it is for urself from there on. The game is much different then maple,,,, more quiet, much smaller, but its increasing stadily and i wont lie i have much fun with it mos of the time. i played maplestory till lvl 70 when i quit and played latale with mi bud haseo.

Latale has lag and loading times up the bumhole, which pretty much ruin the game for me. Otherwise it's decent with a good starting class being warlords.
