where to hunt for throwing stars???
im a new mapler and i chose to be a thief. but i dunno where to hunt for throwing stars. my friend told me to go to perion and look for fire drakes. but im only lvl 18. besides that where else can i hunt? and is there better claw to use at my lvl besides garnier?
You can purchase Icies that only cost a merely 5k. That's only if you live in global. And a quest to gather 50 Phantom seeds.

If you're new you don't really need anything special. Just get some cheap stars, get icicles if you have enough money. They are pretty cheap(if you are in Global, I don't know about the other ones). Or you could get some lower-level stars.
Also, about icy:
So many people say "Omg icy lol fail get ilbi." You will run into those people, but they're idiots. They're the same idiots that buy 15 att gloves before they have a scrolled weapon. Icy give 21 att, Ilbi give 27 att. You should only upgrade to ilbi if it's cost effective. If you run into these people, ask them why upgrade 6 att for 28m (x4 sets) when that 28m could buy much more attack.
I was once messing around in HHG1 ch 1 on my Night Lord. Some guy came up and asked, "Why is your damage so high?" Another kid said, "It's because he has balanced fury." I tried telling him that minor attack difference really didn't change anything, but he didn't believe me until I grabbed a set of icy, and showed him. He ended up defaming me for some reason...
Moral of the story: Be smart with your purchases. Even though ilbi or att wgs seem zomgpro, you may have better things to spend your money on.

Try going into the Free market, and say you are buying Icy. Say something like "Buying Icy throwing stars". It's currently your only option.

Otherwise, browse the FM and see the Icicles prices and see it's worth you're money.

I have 3 sets of icies but I'm on Bellocan so you may not have them.
You have to be 40+ to buy icys from shop 2k each...
Ilbis drop from Mushmom but you're only level 18.
Try getting Kumbis there 50~150k each.
