No, Graphics are actually better than DotA, I have issues running it on my integrated GFX craptop.
And agreeing with the DotA>LoL comments, but irl friends don't believe that. (Most of them sucked ass at DotA)

Well, let's see. Things you can't do in LoL that you can do in DotA:

• Deny
• Leave if someone is cheating or if you have some emergency/some other important thing
• Have a clean slate every game
• Different game modes to encourage multiple heroes
• Observe; "LoL is centered around aggressive playing."
• Get more than 9 fps on a low-end graphics card

And now things you can do in LoL that you can't do in DotA

• Summoner stats and runes give early advantages immediately
• Run into "Brush" which immediately makes enemy Heroes blind to you, as opposed to fog of war patches which take maneuvering and jukes to get into
• Spam stuns and slows due to enlarged mana pool
• Reconnect to games
• Built-in surrender so your team knows that you're a coward
• Stat tracking so you can immediately fear-surrender within the first 5 minutes
• Less random everything so everything is predictable and thus less exciting

On a side note, I'm getting my WC3 CD Keys sometime this week to replace my old ones which were stolen by a friend somehow.

I think the biggest part in LoL that annoys me the most is that you're SUPPOSED to wander around in groups of 5, whereas in DotA, people yelled at you for merely triple pushing, and you usually only got killed by 1-2 people.
