Why not just wait until DBs come out?
I suggest you stop doing a dexless dit. It's not healthy for you.

They're still thieves. And I'm pretty sure their 1st job will be super similar to rogues with Double Stab. If you try making a dit to level 30, you'll be bored. And you'll have to repeat it again with the DB.

Nope, DBs have to be started from character selection like a completely different class.
Pertaining to your question : DEXless Bandits aren't bad, but STR is still the best thanks to the Khanjars. You have to have some insane funding to do better as a DEXless Bandit when compared to any other kind.
Even if dexless isn't the best in the end, it's definitely the most versatile. It's easier to add stats than to reset them, so until you get some idea of end-game, stick with dexless (or at least low-dex).
