Default Setting up internet or Windows XP

It sounds weird, but i just got XP on my macbook using boot camp, and i can't figure out how to connect to the internet. I'm in the internet settings but i can't find a list of networks i can connect to (used to macs and such)
I use the apple Airport extreme with a modem if that helps
    how do i connect?

Control Panel > Network Connections > Wireless network > Enable, and it should auto connect to it assuming it's not password protected.

Make sure the drivers for your wireless network adapter are installed correctly.
