Put a duct-tape patch in there for now, next month I should probably rewrite that paragraph -_-. Too tired to do so now from traveling.

Not sure if you want my opinion, but..

The case is "good" but for what you get, and its' size, you can get better for cheaper. But if you're not worried about saving ~$20 then don't worry about it.

The mobo is good ,and affordable, and I see you having no issues with it whatsoever. More of an AMD fan myself, but to each their own. I'd pick that up if I ever switched to an intel CPU, because it's affordable, and of good quality. Plenty of PCI slots, supports 32 gb of ram, and it's really lacking anywhere.

The video card is "alright" and I don't see you having many problems with it. The 2gb of vram is an added bonus, but it seems to me like you'll be playing the newer games on high / med settings at 1920x1200, but if you're gaming way lower than that, then the card will completely suit your needs. However, I would, if you can, switch it out for this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130841 It's $30 more, and it's the Ti (pretty much overclocked from the factory) edition, and would probably work better for you. That's entirely up to you and your budget, but is something to consider.

The PSU is good, and I have nothing negative to say about it.

As for the 3570k, if you're pairing it with such a "lower-end" card, as compared to the CPU itself, I'd say it's almost overkill, unless you do a lot of CPU-intensive tasks. But it IS really good, and rated as one of the better intel CPUs from the i7 line.

I don't really have knowledge of SSDs, so I can't say anything about it.

I'm also biased, so I have to say I "love" the Corsair Vengeance RAM line, and I feel you'll be perfectly happy with it.

    Basic good HDD, and CD-Drive.

That's about it. Overall it looks good, but you've got some stuff you could save on, as well as push a bit more to get better stuff. But overall I'd say you'll be pleased with the build as it stands.

Just curious, my last PC I built I've had for almost 8 years now and F50 had helped me with all the parts and that **** still runs smooth (I can run crysis on mid with 1920x1080, I can run Planetside 2 with almost no lag whatsoever, etc). However I'm getting to the point where I could use an upgrade and my little brother wants to play games so I'm going to give him my rig knowing it's still good enough and I only spent $500 on it 8 years ago.

So I know PCs aren't future proof I'm not asking for my new one to do what the old one did for me, but I'm huntin around 1k after 2x monitors, with this, so I'm trying for around 800 if I can, but if the difference between an $800 pc and a $1000 pc will be a huge amount then I'll wait a bit and grab it.

I have that motherboard. For $20 more you can probably get the i5 3570K instead of the i5 you got now. And like emailee said you forgot the power supply and HDD. OSes aren't that big of an issue because you might have an old disk to use. If not look for the cheaper OEM ones instead of retail.
