Who still watches CNN? Seriously.
They did this with a certain John Cena, to start controversy by making it seem as if he admitted taking steroids.

That's nothing. My dad and I were in China, where the news one day said "Censorship is down, but it still happens, notably in the case of..." (five minutes of black screen, where they were presumably talking about the whole thing with the tanks in Tiananmen Square)
Every news agency cuts and re-arranges interviews to sway a certain way. Bias is shown everywhere.
Fox is the worst, CNN is pretty bad, msnbc is horrid, abc is not as bad.
I watch CNN for headlines and that is pretty much it. For real news, I go to aljazeera and BBC as well as npr
who watches tv news anyway I listen to radio news particular 1010 wins.
I'm Retired.
HLN is cnn's hipster child. I watch local news. So many people get shot so its interesting.

I just assume that most news shows manipulate stories. Producers do it for "reality" tv, so what would stop them from grabbing ratings and doing it on "news", especially if it's not illegal.
It's why I tend to stay away from sensationalized news shows.
Spoiler!
WonderWall is even worse. 15 sec to read, mostly pictures, and celebrity gossip and then you have the option of saying Awww, OMG, LOL, and WTF. I just wanna say "wtf" to the entire site, it isn't news, the pictures are garbage and whatever text they have is REALLY stupid, and its scripts usually stall out my computer.

The news does sensationalize but the idea is generally through flashy graphics and selective journalism. When Fox has their interviews they tend to edit what serves them, but they atleast show the full interview on their site. CNN has edited their interviews to promote these lies and deny it ever happening. I probably sound like a broken record because I'm surprised no one is as outraged and these corporations get away with it. There's a reason why I have generally nothing bad to say about CBC. Honestly though it's just a trend, nothing happens because people down south are too damn apathetic to deal with their issues that then have global ramifications.
