I have just one line of text for you:

    http://lyrete.deviantart.com/

Yes it only has one creation. Yes it's made today. Yes there'll be more when I decide which are good enough to publish. I won't probably post anything in this thread, but I will post here when if I add more.

Being completely honest, I want to ask. Do you use MS Paint? o.o

MS paint... Really? Can't you see the brush effects? He only got a tablet recently. I has a DA account too but I upload here first now as I get more feedback and comments on things. You should post them in this thread too =3

Going by personal likes, I think the image would have been fine without the heart.

Objectively, the background looks really nice.

I think making that would be entirely possible with MSPaint. And I agree with Rasu. The orange texture by itself (remove the heart, remove the bottom black thing) is excellent. Enlarge it, and you have a crude sig background.

Anyways, your art is pretty good from what I can tell, if this was done with MSPaint. Even if it wasn't, the idea is also pretty awesome, so keep posting! I'm sure everyone's looking forward to it.

It most certainly is not done with MS paint. And the whole point of that was that I didn't put much time into it (like 10 minutes max). And the heart is there for whom it was made for.

My exam week is 27 sept-5 oct, I have the three last days free so I might do one of my 24h painting/drawing/fiddling projects (which never end with a satisfactory result)

So, what did you use to draw it, then?

And I'm sure the heart there for whoever it was meant for is sweet and all, but they're not really going to do anything with it. Maybe set it as their Facebook/Msn Profile picture for a day or two, but there's not really much else that can be done with it. Tangible gifts are generally better, not that I'd know. :/

I recon a form of Photoshop by the looks of it. That or Paint.net. Normally the nice, quick easy ones turn out better.

That wasn't the point Blankaex. It was for her.

And I'm using ArtWeaver, and then Photoshop CS3 if I want to manipulate heavily.
