When I was little I thought rain came from people in airplanes flushing the toilet.
Everyone of you must have believed something dumb as a child. (under 10)
When I was little I thought the moment I was born, the doctor sewed my bellybutton together xD
When I was little I thought rain came from people in airplanes flushing the toilet.
Butts.

I'm pretty sure I believed in Santa/Tooth Fairy/Easter Bunny until at least 3rd grade. That sounds really late now.
When I was really young (<6) I thought that everything on TV was live, including cartoons. I even thought that when I put a VHS in, I the actors had to play the parts on the screen from some far-off location. After a while I started to feel bad making actors play on the TV, and I remember refusing to watch Dumbo once because I wanted the actors to go to sleep.
Spoiler!
I remember where I used to live there was a small wooded area. And all the neighborhood kids (along with me) used to believe that somewhere in there lay the ruins of an abandoned, vampire-esque castle. And at times we even tried looking for it. Of course we never found it, but we always used to share stories about the history of it, our own "experiences" with it and whatnot. I imagined it as a black, gothic styled castle. With a red glow emitting from the windows. I still don't get how that came up in the first place, plus the area wasn't even that big either lol. Guess as a kid everything seems bigger. ^^
Declare variables. Not war! =P
When I was a little kid I believed that police helicopters would fly over my house and hunt me down with cameras which could see through walls if I didn't study.
i have imaginary friends up to this day & i still talk to them.
i believe/d my sister's in heaven watching me.
YOUR DREAMS WILL COME TRUE by tossing coins into that fountain thing
monsters in my closet
bloody mary
i thought my parents weren't allowed to break their promises/lie...
i believed there were predators all over maple. so i lied about my age, saying i was 13 to people instead of 10 xD
people killed in films or on TV die in real life.
the dolls and toys in my room come to life when i'm not there. so i tried to put them in a comfy position before i left, so they could return easily to the sitting/slouching position i put them in. i still kinda believe this, as when i go on trips, i tell them all where i'm going and how long i'll be gone, so that they can enjoy themselves while i'm gone, LOL
bunches of other stuff...

Similar story with Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and Easter Bunny.
I used to think anime, like Pokemon and Digimon, was made by English people and was an English cartoon.
Santa and the Tooth Fairy and the Easter bunny aren't real?
GOD DA- **** IT AND **** THE ****ING PEOPLE WHO ****ED MY ****ING **** WITH A **** WHILE I WAS ****ING ASLEEP!
About 2nd grade on all of that.
I used to believe that you would get hit in the road if you didn't look both ways. Like, every time, without a chance of safety.
that was when I was about 7.
I thought the lord's prayer was temporal magic (I used it to try to make microwave stuff cook faster).
I thought I could predict the weather, talk to animals, stuff like that. Oh wait, I still do.
Change that to adults and shouldn't and I actually still do. If younger people look up to you, don't make stupid promises you can't keep, that's just anal.i thought my parents weren't allowed to break their promises/lie...
I used to believe there was still hope, but then I played final fantasy x.
