Thread: Microsoft Outlook

  1. #1

    Default Microsoft Outlook

    outlook.com

Go check it out. Cleaner than gMail and really damn new so you might be able to get a nice email address without trying too hard. Got one myself and I like it. I'll probably use it for more professionally-related contacts, like applications to jobs and/or school-related things.

    Extension is @outlook.com

No. It's Gmail. Even Google calls it Gmail.

Anyways, I thought you were talking about that email program that I hate to use, but a professional-sounding email with a decent domain sounds nice, I'll go get one.
It'll be my 8th email address which I will actually check.

American businesses made the switch to gmail for everything a little over half a year ago. Outlook is outdated and worthless now.

Disabled it and Outlook Express from components long before I disabled IE.

Maybe it had something to do with a virus using it to open Outlook popups through a script and keep doing so as fast as I could delete.

    Also, are you serious?

Both of these like to auto-open stuff, meaning you can get viruses from mail without so much as seeing the mail, or doing anything. Outlook is bad, and you should feel bad, for suggesting it. It's the new outlook, repackaged same as the old outlook.

    I won't be fooled again.

My dad's work use Outlook for their things still. That said, it's run by Canadians now, and they're weird.

it's not outlook as you know it (standalone program). it's closer to gmail/hotmail, but cleaner and easier to organize, etc. it's an online service.
