Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
I ordered a new DVD box set for K-Drama. My DVD player started making a loud humming noise. I tried another DVD, it isn't the player. According to other reports on the internet this is caused by warping, where one side is thicker or thinner than the other. There's nothing I can do, except listen to loud humming for the duration of the show or chuck it into the trash.
Yea, it sounds like that.
For paying for this item and not having it work, I want Justice.
Spoiler!
Don't you?

People who have ****ty internet connections use discs instead of stream, DL, or torrent. Also people who wanna show off their massive collections. And people who can't afford Blue-Ray use DVDs.
Good. It's not chinese, it's korean.
Currently using a comb to create enough of an angle that the warped disc won't make such a racket. The teeth of the comb have an added effect of dispersing the vibrations, and muffling the sound. It's a dull hum instead of a loud roar now.
Whoa, even better. I added this wool legwarmer thing (a present was wrapped in it by my sis, the queen of odd wrapping paper) instead, and now there's no sound at all.
