Quit Psychoanalyzing Me!
Or, Why I do polls.
I'm kinda a shy person in public, so after taking speech classes and basically forcing myself to do speeches with no notes (how to traumatize yourself 101, lol), I gradually became able to talk to other people, sorta.
Little known fact about myself, I actually hate to talk. I like to write though.
I've made a defense mechanism from all those classes, and so instead of stuttering or some such, I ramble on and on. I also tend to garble words, because I'm just talking so as to not have the shyness I'd normally experience.
But whenever I ask people, what do they like, they change the subject or say little. What are you guys like in real life? I wanna know, but I suck at small talk. So I make these stupid polls.
(Oh, yes, and I don't wanna see 90% of you claiming to be a leader. I know there's a strange cultural stigma against introversion, but as much as possible, I'm looking for a straight answer, despite that I believe complete honesty is likely impossible)
