Procedures: Freud’s reckless incantations broke the curse, but also blew him up a little. He wasn’t gravely injured, but Alpha and Beta felt more than a little guilty. Once Freud was healed, he told Alpha and Beta that the shockwaves from the explosion had made the area unstable, then sent them away. They wondered if they would ever meet this wizard again... Was Freud the same strange man in Maple World? Alpha and Beta may not ever find out, but they had preparations to make for the relic.
