Yup, it is definetly real. I have not heard about this until recently so this is news to me. Project Natal is what they are calling it. Although it doesn't surprise me since I've seen other programs like this such as Cam Space. Its great to see it come out for the 360.
When I seen this on E3 I was pretty much blown away, if it interacts like they show, and say, I am defiantly going to purchase it. I have been wanting to try it out since E3 unveiled it.
With this there are unlimited amounts of things they can make to interact with the player more, and further their gaming experience. The only thing that I didn't like, is it reminded me a little to much of the EyeToy. Which is also another motion capture system which was made for Sony, and has been out for sometime. But hey! I am more of a Xbox person myself. So it lets us, play with the motion capture ability at it's fullest on some of the newer games.
If they develop a first
If they develop a first person shooter that utilizes this, I will yell "Guns of the Patriots!" and pretend to fire at everything with my hands.
