I noticed just one, which looked like my grandpa from old pictures when he was a father. I figured he wouldn't address me as his grandson, so I just pretended not to know him and said "Hi, nice to be at the party", and shook his hand.The table wasn't gold or anything (yellow maple), it was basically just a very fine picnic table which had four legs rather than the two crossed. Anyway, one of the guests or maybe one of the "servers" said offscreen, "I had thought I was inviting you in peace" seeing a miffed look on my face. I ignored him, and sat down next to him, and asked him point blank "Why were you throwing knives at me?" To which he said something like he was jealous (I assume he meant due to the fact that I seem to have everything I want but never have to follow orders, because in terms of wealth, fame, or virility there isn't much to be jealous of). Anyway, I put my head on the table and cried "I'm nothing to be jealous of" and woke up.

Then he came at me, and I closed the door. Someone inside later opened the door, and I think an hour before there'd been this festival event (like a ball game, which I don't play, but I come to these church events anyway, half the time because I'm dragged along, the other half because I've nothing better to do or lonely). Except there was a picnic table before the game, that was all heavy in metaphor. This guy was dressed in some frilly blue layered over white robe (kinda count of monte cristo or three musketeers-style heavy frills) and looking all pompous for someone who just threw knives at people. I don't think I was actually wearing robes, I was just coming to the party as a visitor. I walked in and saw a bunch of people dressed just in white robes (no, no wings or halos anywhere), of the same type, old style frilly church robes. They were like waiters, most people didn't even notice them, and they were swarming about doing various tasks.
