I actually met that person and bought that book, I wouldn't trust amazon/ebay. Like what if the product you were ordering was broken or something like that...
I wouldn't trust amazon
What is wrong with people today
I heard about other people who used amazon
Pffft, the reason they get expensive is because or 17th editions. It's a racket. Worse, nothing you can do about it, since they often reordered the book and changed the homework questions meaning you suck if you try to save money getting an older copy. And good luck reselling. Pay full price instead of used to buy, they won't even resell at wholesale, because next year they're gonna order the new edition. Unless they're not, in which case they'll scam you by offering to take it back, then selling at used prices. I got "water damage" (a few raindrops on a page giving slight off-color) and they told me they couldn't give me any money back for mine.
Amazon used. And pray to hell that the books don't come in late.
Amazon has stuff in its inventory.
Amazon ALSO sells stuff for other people.
always buy used when possible, bulma
the resale on a 2nd time used is about the same as a 1st time used
everyone knows this...
