Monster Book?

I was wondering if you can get information on the monster book being a Permanoob?

In Maple Island, I found a snail card.

So yes, you can find monster cards as a permanoob.

awsome because i was at slime tree for about an hour but i could not get a single card.

Getting a monster card is really hard.My hunter train at zlupins lvl 37-42 and only got 2 of their cards...:(

I think that,actually,the monster's chance of droping a monster card depends on its level.Because the first red snail i killed immediately gave me a card.

try shrooms. I got 5 of their cards in less than 30 mins spamming a level 2 thunderbolt at henesys hunting ground 1

i think it depends on the monster and a little on their level and stuff.

yeah it's possible.
i've completed a set on my perma beginner (pig)
and i got around 15+ random others
