Introduction
Spoiler!
During ascension, many of our well-known party quests have once more undergone large changes including new prize mechanics, new or removed stages, different experience and characteristic rewards, level requirement changes, the removal of the pq rankings (F through S rankings based on completion), etc.
Due to these changes, the party quest database is in need of an update. This means various portions of the party quests need to be rewritten and some, if not all, pictures must be replaced.
I made this thread in order to consolidate any efforts that are being made towards this end, although I haven't seen any so far.
How you can help
Spoiler!
If you are interested in compiling a guide for a specific pq, respond to this thread with your request. Once you are complete, post another response (or edit your previous one) with the completed guide. Please include images, their recommended locations, and any errors or unknowns that you may need to finish updating.
Feel free to suggest edits, replacements or add anything that's missing (highlighted in red)

Stage 1
<Image 3>
1) When you enter, you will be asked to recover the 6 primrose seeds.
2) Kill the pigs that spawn at the bottom of the map and gather the white seeds that they drop.*
<Image 4>
3) With the seeds in your inventory, find one of the six planting platforms and click to grow the flowers.
<Image 5>
*Note: When a total of 6 seeds have been picked up, the pigs will disappear but any remaining dropped seeds will stay on the ground.
Stage 2
1) Once all 6 seeds have been planted, the moon bunny will appear.
2) Keep the same but add a * at the end
3) Keep the first half the same, "which any party member should collect". You will be notified of the total number of Moon Cakes gathered each time one is looted. A health bar above the Moon Bunny as well as on the top of the screen will indicate its remaining health.
<Image 6> (or keep old image)

5) When the stage is cleared, you will receive experience as well as 6 willpower and 3 Empathy.

3) These rice cakes can be taken out of the party quest map and are used to trade for one of two hats.
4) Once the 3 minutes are over, your party is removed from the map.**
*Note: The Moon Bunny will make a rice cake every 8-9 seconds if left untouched. You can gain a maximum of 14 rice cakes from the bonus.
**Note: Because your entire party is moved to the lobby after the bonus stage, it is possible to do the party quest with members who are afk.

It is highly recommended to heal before you re-enter as the cold from the map may kill you. Once you die, you should re-spawn, re-enter, and get to Shammos as quickly as possible to avoid failure.
Note: If a party member is experiencing high lags or afks and is unable to stay near Shammos, it is possible to kick the member from the party quest to avoid failure. This is only recommended as a last resort when Shammos is requesting for the player and 30 seconds has almost passed.
Pre-Stage
<Image 3>
1) You will visit this stage twice. Once before the party quest begins and once after you have completed or failed the party quest.
2) In this stage, you can do one of two things. If you have just begun the party quest, you may speak with Shammos to enter the first stage.

Stage 2
<Image 5>
1) The objective of this stage is to protect Shammos (Top Left) from the various monsters that spawn throughout his path (Top Right) as he moves towards the portal on the far side of the map.
2) Once Shammos and all of your party members have gathered near the portal (Bottom Right), the party leader may pass through it to enter the next stage.
Note: There are various locations throughout the bottom path of this stage where ice spikes (Bottom Left) will pop up and inflict damage. It also may leave you with slower movement and attacking speed for a short period of time.
<Image 6> (I can get an image of him saying "Escort me. If you don't come to my side within 30 seconds of me calling you, you will fail" or "Username! Come here and protect me!"
Note: If you wander too far from Shammos, he will call for you to come back. You can fail the party quest by either allowing him to lose all of his health or by ignoring his request for 30 seconds. If he calls for you, stay near Shammos until the message disappears or he may fail your party quest.
Stage 3

<Image 4> (With me)

or
<Image 5> (With me)

6) Now, directly jump from your platform onto the second platform. Beware, the second platform moves at a fast speed. It's recommended that you do not jump in a left or right direction but rather time your jump so you go straight upwards onto the fast platform (Above).
<Image 6> (Without me)
or
<Image 6> (With me)
7) Leap to the rope from the fast platform and climb up to the NPC Glacial Water.
<Image 7>
When you reach the NPC Glacial Water, you may exchange your Empty Bottle for Ancient Glacial Water for Ancient Glacial Water (Make sure to have 1 Use slot open). The water, when used during the party quest, will recover Shammos's health by 50,000 (approximately 50% of his maximum hp).
Exit through the portal on the right to the Pre-stage.

To reach the party quest, go to Magatia or use the Dimensional Mirror. If you take the portal on the bottom right of Juliet’s room, you will enter a similar room with Romeo in it.
Speak to either Romeo or Juliet to begin the party quest. You will receive 20 minutes to complete the party quest.
There are two version of the boss: Regular and Angry. Follow all the "Angry Frankenroid Instructions" to fight Angry Frankenroid, otherwise you will not be able to face him. Summoning and defeating Angry Frankenroid will not give extra party quest experience*; it will, however, unlock more quests in Magatia, including ones needed to complete the card set (?).
*Angry Frankenroid yields twice as much experience as Regular Frankenroid when defeated.
<Image 2>
Stage One
<Image of the Letter>
Angry Frankenroid Instructions: Find the letter located somewhere in this stage. The letter is not required to complete the PQ, but is required to fight Angry Frankenroid, a harder version of the final boss.
<Image 3>
Click or use the NPC chat key when near a glowing location to check to inspect it. You will find either 500 mesos, 500 exp, a letter, a switch, or nothing. Each location may only be checked once. When the switch is discovered, select the first option to open a portal and clear the stage. Enter through the portal to proceed to the next stage.
Stage Two
<Image 4>
Kill all 45 enemies on the map. When a monster is defeated, the counter near the top of the screen will display the remaining amount. A door will appear when the last enemy falls, enter through it to go to the next stage.
Stage Three
<Image 5>
Defeat the Homunculus and pick up the Strange Liquids. You may only hold one at any given time. Click the large beakers to refill them. If no additional Strange Liquids are placed into the beakers after 2 Homunculus spawns (about 17 seconds), the level will drop by one. Once a beaker has been filled seven times, it will no longer leak. As soon as all the beakers are filled, the stage will clear, the enemies will disappear, and the portal to the next stage will appear. Enter through the portal to proceed.
Stage Four
<Image 6>
Angry Frankenroid Instructions: Have the party member with the letter speak to Romeo or Juliet. When successful, you will receive a blue-colored notification in the chat box.
<Image 7>
Defeat Neo Huriods to find a card key. With a card key in your inventory, click on the door on left or right side of the map to unlock it.
<Image 8>
Inside of left room: This jump quest consists of moving treadmills. All of the boxes will spawn at the top of the map. Find the Alcadno file by standing near a box and clicking on it.
<Image 9>
Inside of right room: This jump quest consists of spears that occasionally pop out of the ground and multiple small platforms. The box positions are randomized each party quest. Find the Zemunist file by standing near a box and clicking on it.
Movement skills are disabled in the rooms. More than one person can be in the room at once. The door will lock once everybody has left the room.
When a file is recovered, hand it to Romeo or Juliet. You will need two to clear the stage.
Stage Five:
<Image 10>
Angry Frankenroid Instructions: Enter the next stage but do not move ahead. Switch your maplestory resolution to 1024x768 through the system options and speak with Yulete.
Everybody will receive a message about Yulete's ramblings. Once you receive this message, it is safe to approach Yulete.

You must find the correct combination of platforms to teleport upwards. Once you find a correct platform, it will glow. Once one party member has reached the top and enters the door, the rest of the party will be teleported to the next room.
*Note: No two party members have the same platform for a specific level. (i.e. If you have the far right platform on the first row, nobody else will have that platform). Therefore, it is recommended that you let your party members know your combination (Far left platform is 1, far right is 4).
Final Stage:
Enter the door at the end of the hall to find the last room of the quest.
<Image 14>
Speak to Yulete to summon Frankenroid and initiate the boss battle.

Defeat Frankenroid to clear the stage.
<Image 15>
Neo Huroids will attack the unconscious NPC on the top left while the boss is summoned and will continue until Frankenroid has been defeated and Juliet or Romeo has been spoken to*.
*Note: Someone with a stun or knockback skill can be used to protect the unconscious npc. The NPC is not affected by the Neo Huroid's long range attacks. Oftentimes, the NPC will not be hurt, even if you do not assign a protector. If by chance, the unconscious NPC dies, only 10 Willpower and 0 Empathy is given upon clearing the PQ.
<Image 16?>
After Frankenroid has been defeated, talk to Romeo or Juliet to transport yourself to the next room. Speak to Yulete to enter the rewards room. Talk to Romeo or Juliet to receive your prize and return to the party quest lobby.

*Note: It is possible to skip rows of platforms by jumping and pressing up. If timed correctly, it will register as trying the platform above you. In this manner, you can successfully get to the top while only going through 4 rows of platforms.
**Note: It is recommended that the levers are hit in a specific order. Start with only the left lever down, then then only the middle lever, then only the right lever, then only the left and middle, etc.
Lobby 2
<Image 14>
1) Place the Pieces of the Goddess Statue by clicking the on the corresponding location (people other than the leader can have the pieces if the leader runs out of room in their inventory).
2) Once the statue has been restored, speak with Eak to clear the lobby and move the party to the Garden.
Warning: If you speak to Eak and cancel the conversation before he moves you to the Garden, you will not be able to speak with him again. This is currently an unfixed glitch and it will prevent you from finishing the party quest.
3) You may also enter the “Bonus Stage” through the ladder on the bottom of the map.
4) You can also Enter the “Hidden Stage” by pressing up at the location below.
<Image>
After Garden:
<image 17>
1) With the Grass of Life in your inventory, click on the statue to revive the Goddess, clear the stage, and automatically kill any remaining Jr. Boogies. Speak with the Goddess Minerva to be transported to the exit stage.
2) In the exit stage, speak with the Goddess again to receive a journal page. In order to exit and complete the pq, you must have at least 2 open etc. slots.
3) Upon clearing the party quest you will receive experience as well as 33 willpower and 20 charm.
4) Possible prizes include
Goddess Wristband : 15 Feathers of Goddess
Goddess Shoes : 10 Feathers of Goddess
Minerva's Bracelet : 30 Feathers of Goddess and 1 Goddess Wristband
Minerva's Shoes : 20 Feathers of Goddess and 1 Goddess Shoes
5) Speak with Cloudkeeper Eak to return to the lobby.
Garden (Boss Stage)
<Image 15>

[URL="http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/3250/papabattle.png"]<Image>[URL]
4) Defeat Papa Pixie and speak with Eak to receive the Grass of Life. In addition, Papa pixie will drop a Feather of Goddess. Each member with an open etc. slot will receive this upon pick up.
5) Enter through the portal to go back to the Lobby.
Note: Having a priest or some all cures handy is recommended as Papa Pixie may cast darkness.
Bonus Stage
Keep the current "Tower of Goddess <The Room of the Guilty> (Bonus Stage)". Steps 3-5 no longer apply. Step 6 should say, "hit the box to receive your reward".
3 rooms need confirmation, I've only been in one and I haven't seen the others yet. Also, the prize mechanics have changed so that needs to be explored. It's either you have to defeat all the lionels, you have to hit all the switches, or both. If you bypass all the monsters, you won't receive any prizes from the box.
Hidden Stage
[Will be added in a later update.]
<Image 19>
1) Defeat Jr. Cellion, Grupers, and Lionels for journal entries.
2) These journals are used to finish the quest, The Record of Goddess Minerva.
Here is a proposed change to the Kerning Party Quest
In progress - Awaiting Approval
Spoiler!
First Time Together Party Quest
<Image 1>
You must be level 20 and above to do this party quest.
Either head to Kerning City or enter Hidden Street : First Time Together Lobby through the Dimensional Portal (shown above) and form a party of 3-4 players. The recommended levels for this quest are 20-69.
<Image 2>
Your party leader must talk to the NPC Lakelis to begin the party quest. You will have 20 minutes to complete the party quest.
Note: The entire party will be moved to the next stage once one player passes through the portal.
Stage 1
<Image 3>
1) Speak with Cloto on the right side of the map to receive a number.
<Image 4>
2) The Ligators on the map will drop coupons when defeated. Collect the amount of coupons equal to the number given to you by Cloto.
<Image 5>
3) Once you have the necessary number of coupons, speak with Cloto once more to receive a Pass. A counter at the top will update with the total number of passes collected each time one has been received.
4) When everybody aside from the party leader has collected a pass*, the stage will clear. Speak with Cloto to open the portal and receive 100 experience. Enter the portal to go to stage 2.
*Note: The party leader can collect coupons and trade them in for a pass if leadership is passed to another player.
Stage 2
<Image 6>
1) Party members must climb onto three of the four vines, one party member per vine.
2) Speak with Cloto to check the combination.
3) Find the correct combination of vines to finish this stage and open the portal to the stage 3.
*Note: It is recommended that the starting combination is the three vines farthest to the left. If this combination is incorrect, the player to the left of an open vine should switch to the open vine. Continue to do this until the correct combination has been found. This can also be done in reverse.
Stage 3
<Image 7>
1) Find the correct combination of platforms to clear the stage. Platforms can be referred to by the number of kittens on top (i.e. 2 kittens = platform number 2).
<Optional Image 7.5>
2) Each time an incorrect combination is tested, blue text in the chat box will indicate how many of the attempted platforms are part of the correct combination.
3) Once the correct combination has been found, the stage will clear. Proceed through the portal to the next stage.
Note: If there aren’t enough party members to occupy three platforms, you may speak to Nella to receive a platform puppet. This, when placed upon a platform, will serve the purpose of a player.
Stage 4
<Image 8>
1) Defeat all the Curse Eyes on the map to clear the stage.
2) Speak with Cloto to open the portal to the boss stage and receive 100 experience.
Boss Stage
<Image 9>

2) Upon defeat, King Slime will drop various potions as well as a Smooshy Liquid which will be received by every party member with an open etc. slot.
Possible Prizes Include:
Soft Jelly Shoes - 15 Smooshy Liquids
Here is a proposed change to the Escape Party Quest
In progress - Rough Draft
Spoiler!
Von Leon Escape
Stage 1
- Jump quest. Only one person is required to reach the top, but it's recommended everyone do it in case people fall off. You must physically be on the platform with the portal to clear the stage. Like any other jump quest, mobility skills cannot be used.
Stage 2
- Kill mobs. A mix of Castle Golems and Vultures (flying, that's my main point) that are auto-aggro. Move to the right of the map to move to the next stage.
Stage 3
Regarding the Escape PQ, the one for LHC,
First stage: Jump up to the top portal and enter while avoiding the obstacles. (only one member needs to reach the top)
Second Stage: Kill Castle Golems and Vultures. (The Vultures fly)
Third Stage: Navigate through the portal maze to find the entrance to the next stage. There are blood reindeers there to obstruct and damage you on your way. A blue message letting everyone know when someone has found the portal to the next stage (The portal will be on the bottom right) (Only one person needs to find and enter, the whole party will move as well.
Fourth stage: Clear all monsters
Fifth stage: Yet another jumping one, same as first stage
Sixth Stage: Kill Prison guard Boars and Rhinos to find Keys to open the Cellar doors. (The doors and chests will have a CLICK above them, anyone can grab a key and open it) (There are chests, which upon opening either spew out a key, or spawn more rhinos and boars)
Seventh Stage: Boss Stage, kill ani
For the third stage, you need to get to room six (there are six rooms). You need to be in room 5 to get to room six.
Here is a proposed change to the Ellin Forest Party Quest
In progress - Research
Spoiler!
Ellin Forest
Before the PQ
Players are encouraged to bring All Cures/Holy Water and Eyedrops, as the final boss can Seal and Darkness.
Stage 1 - unchanged
- Kill the Poison Lord Trees.
Stage 2
- Poisoned stone bugs. Luring is not necessary - the purple vials can be picked up and dropped on the lake/pond. 4 purified bottles are required. Players need to click on the vines instead of drop one by one.
Spoiler!
I'm unfamiliar with attaching/uploading images. If they need to be cropped or if something goes wrong, tell me.
Stage 3 - unchanged
- Random portal maze. Players will need to find their way to the bottom right box. Portals are randomised - there is not set pattern or combination.
(At this point I used NPC chat on the wrong thing, so no more screenshots)
Stage 4
- Speak to Ellin to get Purification Orbs (well, whatever they were called before). It is recommended to put these on a hotkey. Damage in this stage is capped at 400. Bring the monsters to near death and use an orb. If they are "killed", they will recover all their HP.
Stage 5 - unchanged
- Jump quest. There are three platforms at the top of the map, each with three boxes. Players must navigate their way through the jump quest. The middle section (a picture here is necessary) has some fake platforms, but there is a defined set of real platforms. It is recommended that everyone splits up, in case someone falls down.
Stage 6
- The person with the stone needs to click on the Altar to summon the Golem. Golem can Seal, Darkness and give you that funny skull thing which reverses your directional keys (what's it called?).
Information gathered about Dojo
In Progress - Research
Spoiler!Quote:
Dojo isn't up to date; I think it's still at a pre-Chaos stage.
- Upon killing the final boss of each level, and increasing number of Willpower is given, starting at 3, 6... (the pattern doesn't necessarily continue, so I've only put in the first two values. Have yet to solo Mu Gong).
- Energy Bar is charged by taking damage (not hits - larger numbers increase the bar faster). Each skill can only be used once per stage.

Information gathered about Monster Park
In Progress - Research
Spoiler!Quote:
All monsters are classified Boss Monsters, mobs dependent on level, three types of tickets, ticket pieces, coins, prize, 3 times a day, etc. Not sure what the minimum requirement is. Once a person picks up a coin everyone in the map gets a coin. New quests. Yeah. I've forgotten the rest.
Mechanic Changes
Spoiler!
all pqs now have a 10-per day limit. Once you reach that limit, you will receive the following message:Quote:

The following party members have reached the daily challenge quota for today: "<Username>". You can only try '<Party Quest>' a total of "10 times a day".
"___" indicates blue text, '__' indicates red.
Here is an example
- The average level of the party members will determine the level and exp received from monsters in pqs. (Level will not exceed recommended levels)
- The experience rewarded for finishing a pq is now dependent on the average level of the party. (Members that are 20 levels lower than the average will not receive full exp)
- All pq reward items come with potential*
- You can only enter a specific pq 10 times per day.
*I did not receive potential for the 10 moon cake hat.

***Experience for party quests seems to vary based on level. It also seems that specific level ranges give a predetermined amount of exp. If anyone wants to help me test the level tiers, go ahead. So far, I've gathered the following data.
Level 27 - 910 exp
Level 32 - 1452 exp
Level 66 - 10526 exp
Level 107+ - 62635
Not sure where the level breaks are, but it's a good start.
Rice Cake Topper needs to be added to the database. The stats are here. I got two of them and both came with hidden potential. My kenta goggles did as well so ultimate pq prizes may come with potential automatically (unconfirmed)
(Now min requirement is level 10. Should change on page. Also tradeable)
