So I've finally stopped playing maple
What are some mmorpg(s) I can try that is similar to the layout of maplestory?

Mabinogi kinda has a feel of Maple, except when I played the EU server a long time ago I got hideously lost and had no idea on what my aims were or how to do things. (The very beginning of the game had some nice tutorials, but beyond the very start it just kicks you out the house and leaves you to it).
Dungeon Fighter might be somewhat similar, however I don't think it'd be your type of game, but what would I know as I've not played it myself.

By the way I prefer 2D games rather than 3D. Because to me 3D is very confusing.

Now that you're free of the terrible Maplestory game. I think you should use this golden opportunity and give up on MMO gaming or any MMO games that may tempt you to spend real-life currency on the game.

Probably LaTale, but even I grew tired of that.

Maple is pretty much the only one that did it well and attracted much of a following though.

I think it might feel "laggier" than MS, unless they fixed that within the last 3 years or so.
Wasn't there another MS clone called Wind Slayer? That might be dead now.
LaTale is great.
The negative thing about latale the animation does not look as good, compared to Maple and their characters
