I put up a bunch of torches around the bay area, mostly because the landscape is slowly becoming a giant creeper crater. It works really well in keeping mobs away at night, but it looks pretty ugly as-is. Maybe someone can design a way to light the area without just placing random torches?

Build roads, light the edges of roads.
Make lamposts.
Put torches on walls and trees.
Expand the "city". Build houses and other buildings just for kicks and put lights on those.

Then maze must be made out of bedrock or obsidians

Bedrock maze would mean it's there...forever.
If I were to make a maze, it would most likely be out of something easy to break...assuming everyone in the server abides by the rules.
All map PvP would be too destructive. Perhaps we could find a cave system and have a survival match. Last one alive in the cave winning.
