I normally play Maple fullscreen in the small resolution so it's something I've gotten used to. Also my screen is very small. It's literally the same res as the bigger res on Maple ^^;

If you are on a 16:9 16:10 or other widescreen aspect ratio, you pretty much have to play MS in window mode.
If your vertical height is greater than 768, then you also have to play MS in window mode.
If your resolution is smaller than 800x600, then please buy a computer or monitor manufactured in this century, or install your graphics drivers already.

Not really true, maplestory doesn't look that good to begin with and because I have a small widescreen 800x600 doesn't look that bad fullscreen. Also, since my monitor is 1280x720 I can't run the 1024x768 windowed or not because fullscreen it crunches the vertical giving me a headache trying to read the numbers, or windowed just doesn't fit period.
I play fullscreen, and I set it to not stretch so it keeps the aspect ratio and makes full use of my awesome screen.
Even then, the nice pixels get horribly blended, and looks bad.

I would use windows mode if the game allowed me to make all the desktop background black, because when I game, I'm there to play not IM people or browse the net, and if I wanna do that I can just alt tab.
