I've met a ton of pot users who went on a "stabbing/shooting spree" after getting high because they're friends said it would be funny, but anyway...

hm... well.... i think its fine for keeping guns and what not out of schools. i think its a bit much for them to not allow cell phones, but then again cell phones can be a huge distraction and a popular way to cheat on tests at school. if you need to reach your parents then do it the old fashioned way by going to the office and using the school phone. or use a pay phone. at my schools they have pay phones in front of the school and in the cafeteria.

and dont' even complain about a lack of ipods and cd players. for one thing they're obnoxious when you've got someone playing one so loud you can hear it through their head phones, and also they get stolen too often whichis just unwanted stress for school officials.

basically- its no big deal. they're just trying to keep things safe. and if you have a car just leave your cell phone in your car and run outside to use it if you absolutely have to. );<

Um.. I heard Laguardia (performing arts) banned this option.
Stuy and technical schools bring laptops and crap everyday to school.

banning electronics in NYC makes perfect sense. its because there are way too many rich kids with expensive crap and think they can use it any time of the day mixed with too many bad kids who feel like stealing all the rich kids' crap.

not really..... w/e I mean I can like turn my phone off during school and all but not when the phone is not on me...... my pants gets unbalanced.....left side too heavy. cell keeps my pants balanced. I carry too much stuff....my quarters weigh alot...enough of that..I just want to carry my phone
