Rasengan Vs. Chidori (Naruto Fans!!!)

ive been wondering whats really the owning attack? chidori or rasengan? ive heard others say chidori, because chidori is basically a thin layer of chakra around ur hands that cuts DEEPLY into something. and other ppl say rasengan, because rasengan is like a huge bomb of chakra,t hat blows up, but its slow.

i say rsengan because of that episode naruto vs sasuke on the hospital roof, and they each hit the water tanks and sasuke looks behind it and is all like holy crap :shock:

rasengan is from jiraiya (one of the legendary 3 ninjas)
chidori is from kakashi (one of the most well known jounin with a sharingan)

but face it jiraiya is better than kakashi altho kakashi wont go down easy at all

jiraiya will win with heavy wounds

so in the end, i voted for rasengan being stronger but i like chidori more coz its loox better

Rasengan is not a bomb, you silly boy.

If the Chidori cuts, then the Rasengan grinds. The only reason why it blows up is because Naruto releases it too soon. If he didn't, it would shred people.

There's no doubt about it; Rasengan is stronger. But Naruto hasn't mastered it yet. Aside from releasing it too soon, he can't do it with one hand. When he gets better with it, its going to be cool.

Rasengan is better than the Chidori but if you see Naruto Vs. Sasuke you will see that the Chidori is what you say is stronger. Naruto doesn't do anything else but Rasengan this and Rasengan that he has no other good moves until Jiraiya teaches him more Genjutsus.

When it connects with the target, you can choose to drop the chakra control in the sphere, producing a violent explosion on the target. Naruto passed out, and it exploded automatically. Trust me, Rasengan is stronger.

He can use the Kyubi's chakra for a Rasengan later on. He has been shown to use the normal Rasengan with one hand after the timeskip, but for him to use the Kyubi's chakra for a Rasengan, he needs a clone to help him hold it.

well apparently there's a difference between what Hatake Kakashi and what Uchiha Sasuke use. They're the same technique basically but yeah.

Kakashi uses "Raikiri" where it doesn't ever touch the ground.
Sasuke uses "Chidori" where it grinds against a surface.

The thing with Chidori/Raikiri and Rasengan is that they both can explode or remain there depending on how it's used. Kakashi vs. Haku, it goes through Haku, but is still crackling. This indicates there is actual staying power to it.

The techniques are similar in that they're a large accumulation of chakra in the hand. I'd say they're strength is more dependent on the user. After all Sasuke and Naruto were evenly matched, lvl 3 cursed seal Sasuke vs. single tail kyuubi Naruto.

I like them both.
I like rasengan because the ball made out of chakra looks and sounds cool. The move itself is awesome!
Chidori is cool too. It's like a chakra sword, but it's used by an arm, and not a sword. They both look cool!
