It's all opinions. I gave mine. That's why I said "I'd rather" instead of "You'd rather".
The subject of this thread for the latter part was the 'looks' of the moves. It really didn't need clarification by saying "flashy moves" unless there were two subjects being discussed (ie the looks of characters moves, and the looks of the characters), which there weren't.
As to how I decide to phrase my replies - that's really up to me too. On this occasion I went for the condescending approach! :P
"Looks of the character". A crusader has orbs going around them. A white knight has a differnt color coming out of it's sword/blunt weapon. It is both considered as looks of character and flashy skills.
"In my opinion", questioning and answering yourself sounds a bit ****y. =/

anyone have screenshot examples of a weapon glowing with each charge? never seen it, those a aura of color appear, or those the sword change colors all over?

go watch videos. see them all the time. the fire charge will make the attack animation colour (ya know, the purpel turned red with mastery?) become orange, and ice charge will make it blue, with some blocks of ice.
Finally back at Maple. It's been so long...but absence didn't make the heart grow fonder.
