Fighter/Crusader or Spearman/Dragon Knight is better

I have a problem for choosing Fighter/Crusader or Spearman/Dragon Knight

Can help me?

~I like to use 2 hand sword
~but I like the skill of Dragon Knight, it was cooler than Crusader
~I a litte bit dislike using slow weapon
~I heard that Crusader had a beautiful number of attack, and a few of my friend advice me to do so
~I also heard that Dragon Knight can attack many enemies with Buster or Dragon Roar which Crusader can't do
~I prefer with name of ''Knight'', it was cooler, Dragon Knight/Dark Knight sound cooler and tougher than Crusader/Hero
~I not very prefer partying because I more like soloing


This is my problem

DK cant solo very well until like lv100. If you hate partying or your computer lags you a lot when partying, it might be a better choice to choose crusader.

Then I would suggest you to make a Fighter or Page, too.

I'm a Page at the moment. I hardly ever party unless it's with a couple of friends every now and then. In my opinion, Page is way better than Fighter for solo-ing since we both have Power Guard (look up the skill if you don't know what it is), but the Page has Threaten, which the Fighter does not. Yes, the Fighter has Rage, but to be honest you can just use Warrior Pills from Ludibrium, which add 5atk (maxed Rage adds 10atk). I tested the difference yesterday by firstly using a Warrior Pill, and then by partying with a Fighter with maxed Rage, and I noticed no difference between the two.

If you'r gonna level to 3rd job eventually and really want the skills of the Crusader then I'd go for Fighter, but if you don't really see yourself levelling to 3rd job too fast, or don't really play enough to do so, I'd recommend being a Page.

Well if you dont like party choos Crusader or WK but if u like party take DK Spearmans have HB and cool skills at 3th job we are only slow from 30-39
lvl 40 and 50 weapons are Normal speed like swords sooo its ur own choos
60+ u have booster so ALL ur weapons are normal speed :)

fighters are tanks, and great for one on one attacks.

spearman are great for longer range mob attacks.

pages are weaker, you want it for the 3rd job elemental attacks, and hopefully a power boost in 4th job.

to the person trashing rage, yes, it gives double the w attack of warrior pill, but with both, you get 15 w attack.

fighters have higher defence, and good damage when you take into effect more speed and skills to add attack.

spearman have low defence, and a few flashy skills in 3rd job.

It cancels out the pill. Much like haste cancels speed pills. The 10 you get from Rage vs the 5 from a Warrior Pill is hardly noticable.

Fighters have a lower defense. Rage lowers your defense. They only have a higher defense when using Power Guard, which Page has too... but Page also has Threaten, which lowers enemies attack, making them hit weaker, effectively being better defense.

I think both classes (Fighter and Page) are good and similar at 3rd job (just depends what you like) but at 2nd job in my opinion the Page is more versatile and overall stronger.

hmm, I was just thinking about my own post: Spearman if you want party play.

In fact I play most of the times alone. So looking back, I sometimes ask myself if Page or Fighter would have been better :cry:

So my advice: think carefully before chosing the 2nd job.

Fighter is better than Page overall.

WK is best soloer out of all 3.

DK is best partier out of all 3.

Partying give better exp in 3rd job...if you have HS.

Crusader can mob also using Coma.

Kinda hard to choose a class having those requirements. You're like split exactly in the middle. Just flip a coin.
