People shouldn't be so dependant on clerics anyway. You should be monitoring your health bar as well it's not a clerics fault you die it's your own. People are just so demanding with clerics all I hear is "Cleric Heal" "Heal Cleric" "Cleric WTF? Heal us you noob!"
the main purpose of actually inviting Clerics is for the Heal. Clerics themselves should know it.
plus, it isn't just an advantage. other buffs all add to the stats, or increase amount of HP/MP you can have. but in the Cleric's case, the main attack skill, which also is a buff, gives your party members HP. you are givien a skill that keeps others alive. the rest of your attacking skills aren't too dandy. so why not stick to what you can do best?
