My lv 70-80 was at mp3. If you really want to save on pots share the map with someone that will kill top because you will be spamming thunder bolt (and later, ice strike) on the hummer.
Get your butt over to Mysterious path three in singapore. experience is great, ranging from 220-250 per kill, heck if my lvl 56 bowman can 2 hit them, you could mob them to death, spawn is really good and you can find steely. I found a dark anatakamoon (Male lvl 58 magician) and female lvl 58, the female lvl 48 moon pants, and a couple of scrolls all within one hour.
yeah, in one hour i got about 20% lvl 56

I do not want to lpq or mcpq. I read around page 150 that i should go kill the platoon chronos or zombie lupins. From page 175+ they all say mcpq.
Any suggestions?

I'm with you on not liking the CPQ. Personally, I think it is overrated and full of the stereotypical annoying 'noobs'. That, and it gets boring after 10 lvls or so. So to all those that say CPQ is the godliest exp for those lvls, talk to my page, and his story will tell you different.
Anyways, one of my best friends in maple started an i/l a couple weeks ago, so I asked her about lvls 30-50. She actually went to Magatia with her i/l mobbing skills. I cant remember exactly what rooms she trained in, but on my page it seemed every room had a godly spawn. lvl 30-50 took her 1 day (with 8 hours of 2x).
One thing I liked to do while training my I/L mage OH so long ago (before CPQ) was quest. I wrote down every quest that had a reasonable reward. I then grouped them by location, lvl req, and general requirements. With this grouping system, I listed the quests I wanted to do, and the order I would do them in. I grinded a couple lvls in order to activate more quests on my list, but the majority of my exp was from completing and turning in quests. This may be slower than CPQ, or 2x grinding, but for a newer player, it is very nice. It made maple FUN and exciting. I earned a ton of equips, pots, mesos, scrolls, and exp.
Spoiler!
I never Liked cpq i was sooo happy when i finally got to 50 o.o
I did a dance.
The main reasons i dont like it was the maple coin stealing and the leechers.
I mean seriously even if u cant hit em buy some sniper pots, and if that doesnt work, maybe, just ,maybe i would have let someone leech me, but other than that cpq is just full of hackers and COIN STEALERS <- ( Dont ever do this >:[)

Only way we could have levelled faster, I think, was if we had had 2x xp cards during our cpqs. No way could we have trained regularly faster. 1700-1800 points and experience worth of rombots + the reward for A rank everytime? It's pretty unbelievable experience.

Zombie lupins are good if you have lightning. Since you went ice first, you need to try different places. Give the room in nlc with fire tusks and fire bombs a try.
If that's not great, try paper lanterns + dark cloud foxes (long horizontal map). The lanterns are ice weak, so you'll maul them easily. Drops aren't horrible either (if you can actually get them to drop something).
There are also plenty of sniping areas around megatia that you can try, but most of the monsters there aren't ice weak=/
