I'd like to add:
Star pixies + lightning = great fun. Just had meself a blast there for about twenty minutes or so (helping someone out with Spiruna's cloud bits quest).
just so that below lvl 30 mages have something to look at, here's a basic sketch of where they should go:
lvl 1-8: green and blue snails around maple island
lvl 8-15: slimes in ellinia or orange mushrooms (kerning construction is a nice map)
lvl 15-20: pigs and ribbon pigs
lvl 18-25: green mushrooms
lvl 25-30: horned and zombie mushrooms in the ant tunnel, as you get closer to 30 you could switch to wild boars

This is a signature. Hurrah.
Zipangu just plain rocks. my sis went to Raccoons. they are weak to ice, and because their HP is a bit higher than kitties only, my sis can one hit them. they give a sexy 84 exp. compare that to a kitty's 65 exp.Originally Posted by eefie
now, let's compare same exp monsters. Fire Boars vs Crows. Fire boars have 1000hp, while Crows have 400. you just can't beat it.
don't worry. GMS will get Zipangu soon enough. you'll love it!
Finally back at Maple. It's been so long...but absence didn't make the heart grow fonder.

I fell asleep on a train and woke up as a woman in Atlantis...
Pre-lvl 8 mages should just train on snails or whatever they can kill. It'll take a while no matter what.
I've compiled all of the training locations I've come across for Magicians and the advancement classes. As Zipangu hasn't been released in GMS, I've not been able to find any training places there for F/P Wizards or Clerics. Should I remake this in a new thread so it's on the first page?

Yes, I'm slow.
DSG's are 5 hits at lvl 56. 3 if you're on pie.
I'd also like to add hectors as a good spot for 55-60 wizards (if you can find a non-hacked map, that is). White pangs are also fun if you're partied with a fire mage or you're cheating and partied with a 110 sniper who is killing all the lycans and occasionally jumps down to help you >_>
This is a signature. Hurrah.
If anyone can get me training locations in Zipangu for Clerics/Priests and F/P Wizards/mages, it'd be great.
I listed DSG's in the 40-50 slot because I was too lazy to say that they're 45+. (Note: I actually trained on them from 42-48, but they were better exp after I reached 45.)

Yes, I'm slow.
Crows for everyone at level 25.
Clerics and Fire Mages can try Cloud Foxes at level 40, while Ice Mages go for Flaming Raccons. hurt more, but better exp.
level 50 means the Thugs/Littemen/Extras or whatever they are called. just don't go for the Leaders or the Extra D.
at about level 55 or 60, you can try Night Foxes.
level 60+, Clerics can try Ghosts.
past level 60, you can go for the Leaders and Extra D.
after that, i have no idea. maybe you can go to the Armoury for Bains. that's only when you get your mob attack maxed though. so expect going there at level 80 for the Mages, and level 80+ for Priests, depending. after all, there will be lots of people waiting to party you.
EDIT: level 60 Ice Wizards can go to Fire Slimes. those are better substitutes for Red Drakes.
Finally back at Maple. It's been so long...but absence didn't make the heart grow fonder.
ice mages 120+
highly, HIGHLY recommend dual parties and gobys, its the best exp in the game for me thus far...
*does math*
about 3% an hour for me in a very good dual party at lvl 137. (14x DK, 13x fire mage, 13x crusader, 11x DK)
standard 2 attacker goby party with a priest: a little more than 3% an hour (over 2.1 mil exp/hour), at lvl 137.
