Error code 38 : (Reached the end of the file)

Only recently after the two rollbacks have I experienced this error.

When I launch Maple Story, it loads fine and I play perfectly fine for a short while, but after 10~20 minutes, Maple Story abruptly closes and I get a pop-up that says "Error code 38 : (Reached the end of the file)".

Does anyone know the causes and, more importantly, a fix?

Nexon is fully aware of the glitch, and there is another server check to fix this error.

I think it occurs when you finish a quest. The quest gets completed, but you D/C.

Either way, the SC will probably fix it.

That just reminded me of something. Sometimes when you just completed a quest, and go see that npc to get your reward, you get like an error. I forgot but it's something like that for some quests.
