I would give you advice in general. Screwing around with your WINDOWS folder just because Google told you to isn't smart. Unless you specifically know what the file/folder does and the effects you should keep it. And SVCHOST.EXE is a Service host process for Windows. It is needed by Windows programs and you shouldn't delete it or else unforeseen consequences will occur. Just leave the file. It will do you no harm.
scvhost.exe cannot be deleted it is only being closed/terminate as it comes back when windows is restarded.
Ps i gave scvhost as and example not the process that i meant you to close.
Easiest way to fix is just format it no need to mess with win files

i know that svchost cant be the problem ;)
anywhay i think the problem is the root kit...
i would try to deinstall but i dont know the files...
Only Registry i cleaned from it.
And yes, i deleted the Gameguard Folder.
After Maple start it recreat the Folder but the effect is the same...
I can't format and reinstall windows, because there are too much programs that i've installed. it would take days to reinstall all...
Try changing your screen resolution to 800x600 and 16bits
if that doesn't work try reinstalling the game ^_^
I tried both already... no solution...

Gamegaurd is the rootkit. Basically if you've done all of this, then windows reinstall maybe your only answer. Do you know how to do this without formatting?Originally Posted by Spaceman2k
