Please Help! Patch not working
Please help Patch is not working. Steps and messages as follows:
Clicked Maple Story icon on desktop.
Wizet Patcher message: There was an error while running the patch.
Patcher: Data.wz file is corrupt
Clicked Ok
Patcher: The Patch failed to execute you'll need to download the new version will you download it now?
Clicked Yes.
Do you want to Run or Save this file?
Clicked Save
Download MSSetup.exe from Mapleglobal.com
Then message box pops up copying file from NGR88YO to MapleStory.
Then when done ReBoot.
Clicked on Maple Story icon on desktop and the whole process above starts again. :confused:
Could not attach patcher log . . . error message indicated could not find part of log.
Copied the patcher log onto a Word document and attached it below.

Same thing happened to me. After it downloaded MSSetup, it gave me another MS icon.... so now I have 2. The second one works for me though, although the first doesn't... So I dunno, perhaps see if you have another icon to use.

That's wierd. You did install it when prompted? Cause you didn't state it. Just uninstall and manually download it from website and install it. I don't recall you needed to reboot after MS setup. And I don't reacall this "NGR88YO" file being installed.

Do a uninstall, download, install ala F50's post. That should fix it right up.
Big kudo's on having such a prepared post for us, that's exactly what we want from people!
I belive NGR88YO maybe a temp file, I don't have it on my system.
