I found a blue rose at El Nath: snowy hill. I wasn't pay attention to which monster (leatty or jr pepe) it was, my summon dragon killed it.

There might be some truth to the rumor. If it drop one rose then it drops all the color, because I was hunting the same monster and it droped 3 different colors.
